Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows if there are supposed to be scholarships being given out still or if the initial financial aid award is the last notification I should expect.
Wanted to know if I should call to beg for more money yet or not! I received the Middle Class Scholarship Congrats to everyone else admitted!
Woops I meant to say that I received the middle class scholarship from another UC, and I’m not sure if I automatically should qualify or if that’s given out at each school’s discretion.

Include your student ID. It’s called Empl ID and it’s in your portal.
Keep your email short & very direct. Leave out all the filler.

I got an answer back. They said we are still accepted, just need to send in our final transcripts to be fully admitted! It’s the same for everyone else
So, is anyone is the same situation I’m in? I want to compare cost of attendances with the UCs I get accepted into and pick a university based on whichever one is cheaper but all of the UCs don’t release their financial aid information until early-mid May, which is after the deadline to accept or decline. I asked the CPSLO admissions office if its possible to extend the deadline, but they said no. So now I either have to pay up a few hundred bucks to accept and then possibly lose it if a UC is cheaper and I choose to go there instead

Wait so did you get accepted? They have not told me whether I was accepted, denied, or waitlisted. I have not heard anything at all. It just says no determination has been made at this time and I thought they had to tell us by April 1st if we got in or not.
Cal Poly waived the deposit to accept so you should accept Cal Poly, then when the financial aid packages are released, you can always withdraw & not lose any money.
That’s very weird. I got accepted on March 16. You should email admissions or ask that question in one of the open house sessions. They have a transfer session tomorrow at 5.
@NonTradtional when did they say they were waiving the deposit fee?
Several employees told us yesterday during the Virtual Open House on Zoom that the Accept-Deposit has been waived for everyone.
I attended multiple Virtual Open Houses & different employees kept saying it during the different webinars.
So I was trying to register for orientation and it says that there are no available options events at this time. Does this mean that all the events filled up? Or does it mean that there is no longer going to be a WOW?

I think you have to write a compelling letter based on your reason for wanting to defer your admission
