<p>Do you have any varsity sports in your EC? The folks from my school (yes, Asian) who did get into one of the HYPSM clearly had another talent they excelled at. One had 2 varsity sports, the other had a clear musical talent (national level)…and were either school president of 1/2 clubs with substantial community contribution (and lead charity efforts). And yes, along with your kind of gpa and sat scores (all were either valedectorian or salutarian), very competitive HS from CA. Anyway, good luck. I think you are pretty strong anyway…and will probably get into a top college. HYPSM is a reach for anyone.</p>
