<p>Is there any indicator on the WebAdvisor that you might’ve got in. As with many of my fellow users, I’m anxiously waiting my letter. As of 3/19 my Advisor status changed to “Decision Mailed.”</p>

<p>My son received his financial aid package in the mail but not the official letter of acceptance (and all the stuff to do housing, deposits, etc) on Saturday. Thought it would be in the mail today, but it’s not. My son tried to call but got an answering machine, also left an email…it’s an acceptance- right???</p>
<p>Yes, he has been accepted. I don’t think they would send an Fin Aid package if he was rejected.</p>

<p>Got my letter of acceptance today in addition to the Dean’s Scholarship! My web advisor status changed to Decision Mailed on 3/21 if anyone is curious.</p>
<p>In short: Majoring in BA with emphasis in Marketing. 3.64 unweighted GPA, 7 AP classes all passed with B+ or higher, ASB president, DECA (marketing organization/classes) for four years with VP and P and student store operations and director of finances as leadership roles, also DECA competition (went to international conference after getting 1st in state,) also had a great interview.</p>
<p>ive given up in chapman…it obviously takes a week to get it once the status changes from decision mailed and mine is still pending so this is ridiculous that they cant even get out there acceptances by april 1st!!</p>

<p>For people who live close to Chapman/in CA, how many days was it between your status change and when you received the actual letter?</p>
<p>For those of you waiting for your letter, when My daughter got her acceptance for early decision, it seemed like it took at least a week for it to arrive after it said it had been mailed. I called Chapman and they told me that was normal. So hang in there and don’t expect it to arrive in a day or two when it changes to mailed. Hint, if it is a big think envelope, that is good news. They send an excellent and very professional package, and in the case of my daughter’s, inside of one of the folders was the nice letter I liked with the very nice scholarship.</p>
<p>As someone that works at Chapman previously stated, and also how it is stated on the WebAdvisor, when your status changes from Decision Pending that means the decision has just been made, ie my status changed to Decision Mailed on 3/21 but my acceptance letter says 3/22 as when it was drafted. Also, after the decision indicator changes, it takes them a few days to put together your packet that they send you. Also stated in this thread is that they have had 30% increase in applicants so they are trying their best to do everything in a timely manner. </p>

<p>For admitted students, that would be the Preview Day on April 10, for this year according to the admissions blog. They will either notify you by email or a post card in the mail.</p>
