Class of 2012 Likely Letters

i got one today too! : )
dated march 14

so freakin relieved

ElRey and Thefastlane,

Sorry I always ask this whenever anyone receives a likely but where are you located?

I'm really anxious to receive one and I'm in Chicago.

are any of you who got it internationals?
it seems ot is sent to only domestics applicants

I'm in Chicago and I got one (dated march 7th). But I don't think they go by location. A couple of my friends got theirs a couple of weeks before I got mine.

No, internationals don't get likely letters from Dartmouth.

Anyone got a letter addressed to parents about Dimensions? I just got mine.

Miss Silvestris, really??? thats a relief but how do you know? thanks

Yeah!!.....I can't believe I actually got a LL!! I live in Cali btw...........

angel90, I got one too.

i want one
i want one baaaadly

Are they gonna keep coming until the actual notice date? This is so so so sooo stressful! I wished they would've just done the three waves thing and been done with it!

we'll see tomorrow, won't we? I don't think there is any specific patterns anymore (e.g. dated Friday's)

i got mine 3/10 i was the only one in my school to get this wave although a lot of kids got the one in february.

what puzzled me was my peer rec writer said he never sent i his rec. i guess it worked out though...

I got one yesterday!!!!!

Really Ms Silvestris? That makes me feel sooo much better! I was starting to freak out about not getting one. So where did you find that info?

^ Check out the past year's likely letters forum. There wasn't a single mention of an international getting a letter. So either the applicants weren't strong enough to get one or they don't normally send intl's any. I could be wrong, so take it with a grain of salt.

ok, good point. Thank you though!

In case anyone knows... I'm an URM, and I know D has some weekend activities for URMs, for which they send out invites in the form of likely letters. Is it bad if I haven't gotten one, considering how many students get one, and that I'm URM? Just worried...

roughly 30 people (i think that's an overestimate for the number in this thread) isn't "a lot." this thread is nowhere near an accurate sampling of the applicant pool.

at least, that's what keeps my head in check when I visit this thread to find out a "new wave" has passed and my mailbox remains empty.

I got mine today - class of 2010(non hooked)
