Zoras10 The best resource I found for CRITICAL READING and WRITING portion of SAT is

“Silverturtle’s Guide”… Google it or search it on CollegeConfidential. It is available for free. I raised my CR and Writing scores from 590 each to 700 each using this.

CR and writing advice is immaculate on this guide.

@Zoras10 I’ve sent you my id but i’m not sure you’ll get it or not. please let me know.

And guys will you please help me out with the colleges as well. I am seeking my career in IT, do you guys have any idea about good IT colleges with reasonable scholarship.

5)Some more downloads. These are the practice sets from “The Blue Book” i.e. the official SAT book published by Collegeboard itself. Trust me these are the practice sets most close to the real thing. So, if you can practice these sets from here, you don’t need to buy that book because it’s the practice sets the book is so famous for.

@blacknwhite12 I hope those links will do for the soft copies.
It would be good to apply for the engineering colleges but some liberal arts colleges have good IT programs as well.
If you are from KTM then it would be far more better if you go to USEF and go through Book of Major, Four Year Colleges book and that Yellow books about Top 100 colleges providing Financial Aid.

Hey guys… found a lot of discussion of SAT over here.
Actually, i am on the other side. I am giving ACT instead of SAT. So, can anybody help me with online practice tests and help materials.
Today, i went to purchase a practice book. But, couldn’t find in many bookstores in putalisadak and Bagbazar.
Also, Can anybody suggest me where to find ACT Practice book.

I doubt you’ll find any ACT books in the stores… I myself was in dilemma about giving ACT or SAT but I am going again for SAT since I have been well acquainted with it… But Spark Notes is good for it…Gud day :)

You shouldn’t worry about GPA unless its extremely low like <70% or lots of Bs and Cs. Colleges will figure out themselves as they are familiar with every country’s academic credentials… but if you want really want to know your gpa I recommend WES services…They charge you 5$ and you will know how much your gpa is in 4.0 scale…

Good luck for the October SAT and college application process
Thanks Zoras10 for the links to practice test… those will be helpful
I am from +2 background so don’t have much ECA
Can anyone suggest some volunteering programs and possibly provide me with contact information.
