It is down right awful!! I have 1st choice mathematics bs and 2nd choice applied mathematics! I have not seen any science major decisions (this might be a good thing?). The sad part is this college was suppose to be my easier school with nearly a 70% acceptance rate. I hope to hear back very soon, it has been killing me for the past month! What are your stats like? Hey maybe a miracle happens and we both get mathematics!
I’m an international Student and I got accepted to Engineering during Mid-Jan. I applied late October. My gps is 4.2 weighted and my ACT was 24.

@CooperMathWorks Yeah, I haven’t heard of many College of Science decisions (hopefully there’s still room!). Check #334 4 my stats. Same, I applied Dec. 1 considering A&M as my fall back, but now it’s debatably my #1.
@chadfeens - It baffles me that a student with a 30 ACT is on the fence. What is your class rank and GPA though? TAMU has definitely become my No. 1. Are you interested in Grad School after Undergrad? Yesterday I saw an article saying the school is in top 20 for research in the nation, not even UT is in that category. Pretty awesome stuff in my opinion, I would love to get into physics with the applied mathematics. By the way, my cousin is a professor at TAMU for english and published an article on linguistics, I do not know all the details or even the basics but I know he went to Norway and other places to lecture at top universities on his break through. Pretty awesome stuff.
@CooperMathWorks I’m 155/412 in one of the best public schools in TN. I had a 4.8/5 last semester with 6 AP/IB courses. A&M’s doing some awesome stuff! Very enticing (which makes me more anxious)! The OOS sucks though!
How did you come around to TAMU from TN? I lived in Willis, TX which is about an hour away from TAMU for many years. The OOS is rough, but it seems to be well worth it. Awesome semester you had by the way. It seems we are rather close in stats, especially class rank. Make sure to tell me your decision when you hear back!

Amberk - Those are REALLY low SAT scores especially for someone going into a business major I would think. But like I said in a previous post, there is the other half of the review bucket that nobody can really quantify.

My son’s status on the Howdy Portal under manage applications changed to Team tonight. This means he was offered Blinn Team. 30 ACT, 92 Average, 2nd Quarter at great high school. lots of EC’s and volunteer hours. We are going to check it out on Saturday.
Same here! Son’s Howdy portal changed to TEAM! He will take it! So relieved to know. My daughter, a junior at May’s, says she usually can’t even tell which students are full admissions vs. Team. For those who are interested, Team can even RUSH!
I feel like crying omg. I just wanna do Blinn team so bad…
