Although I am sure this was done in good humor, it is really not okay to play with students’ emotions like that. This is a time of very high anxiety and stress for a lot of students, and doing these “pranks” does nothing but deflate and crush peoples’ emotions. Not cool.
Are you sure she didn’t mean UPS? They are completely different services and in past years I’ve only seen MyUPS.
Not arguing, just saying that’s interesting!
I agree @sallaw, totally stinks
Lmao I’m dead. Ppl here are savage.
@Ashtash My friend’s son who was admitted last year DEFINITELY received his acceptance package Priority Mail through USPS (not UPS). She texted me a photo of the envelope. It says “Priority Mail” with a USPS tracking # (USPS, not UPS) and “US POSTAGE AND FEES PAID”. Everyone else seems to be saying UPS. Maybe they do some one way, some the other (based on geography, college or admission, or just randomly). All I know is that this one letter from last year was USPS.
@delldellcell All I saw on last year’s thread was that it was in the morning. So anything by 12 pm I guess?
I have confession to make.
This color message has been driving nuts everybody since last week so thought lets have some fun ride this morning.
Based on all evidences from last few years decision it seems highly likely today, worst sometimes this week.
@delldellcell Last year, I believed the email was sent around 11 AM based on previous threads
last year the email came at 1 pm ish
Not cool and not appreciated, PpofEngdr.
So is it 11am or 1pm peeps?
@knock00 Ah, that makes sense:) Well, I’m hoping they would send mine UPS If I were to be accepted because nothing in my USPS:( I actually got a nice package looking thing that said Washington in my USPS, but it was for something completely different. Really got my hopes up, lol

@Sweetcookie18 the thread from last year says 1 pm
yall crazy
@PPofEngrDr It would have been better if you’d chosen some clearly outrageous color like purple at the beginning itself so everyone would know it was a joke. Green from red hits too close home to the accepted/rejected anxiety.
@Sweetcookie18 Wait, sorry, the counselors received an email around 11 AM! My bad
Oh so it was the counselors? Not an email directly to the students? And thanks for the time update!
@ashtash so do applicants not receive emails?
The students received an email too @Sweetcookie18 @parkinglots
