I thought they only sent out acceptances by mail and rejections only by email or portal.
After looking at last year’s thread, it seems the vast majority of people received packages after the 15, so not going to worry!
How is everyone checking to see if theyre getting something from USPS? I want to check!

Relax everyone! Cmon guys it’s March Madness season! Enjoy the games today and when the decisions are released, they will be released! It’ll for sure be either today or tomorrow, so sit back, relax, and pray that you have a perfect bracket so you can pay for college!

Anyone have any idea what percentage of kids will be wait listed, flat out denied, and or accepted?
@mimimeme Once you set it up, you have to wait until the bext day anyway. I’m not sure where you live, but most people who are admitted aren’t going to receive their acceptance package toda anyway. Most people will get them at a later date.
@TryHard44 last year admission had ~16% acceptance rate, ~35% yield rate. It is fair to assume that ~75% expected to be declined or waitlisted (don’t have breakdown of this). It should be same ballpark this year too.

There are three USPS notifications listed. The initial one, which indicates a reference to the package section of the USPS dashboard, may be legitimate.
The package section of USPS Informed Delivery, I believe, lists when a package was sent, regardless of when it is going to be delivered. So if a package was sent last night from Wash U, it would probably show up on the USPS “dashboard” and not on the daily email. The latter only shows items being delivered today, while the packages window, I believe, shows packages that are on their way, regardless of when they will be delivered.
It does strike me as a bit strange that Wash U would send the packages out before updating the portal. They have to know about CC and the USPS Informed Delivery, so they would know that sending it out the day before would create the kind of delirium now showing up on the Board. I know that USC sends packages out before posting, but they are very clear about wanting the “mailbox moment.” And even then, they allegedly block tracking, so there is no way to check on line to know whether you’ve been accepted.
All of that being said, we will all know for sure soon.

I have an unknown shipment in my packages that won’t give me any information. I’ll hope that’s it, lol

Only 7% of the class is international. I’m basically screwed.
