Deferral Outcomes

Has anyone heard yet?

Keep in mind that you’re put into the RD pool…so April is the latest time you can find out. You’ll probably find out earlier, though.

Well I have read that some people find out soon after they receive your mid year transcripts with the good deferral letter.

I would say we should start seeing the first batches around late February/early March.

My guidance counselor said that if you don’t get accepted after being deferred they just don’t say anything about it. Is there any truth to that?

No. If you got rejected after being deferred, they would tell you.

They will typically offer you a spot on the “wait list” if you aren’t accepted. You will hear something.

I’m hoping I hear back soon

Did anyone write to there admissions rep expressing continual interest in the school?

I haven’t, has anyone here expressed interest to their admissions reps?

I made a clarification to a point of my application, and the response email thanked me for “continued interest” So, I guess that’s a two-fer.

If I dont hear anything today I think I will emial them

Got accepted a couple hours ago. Didn’t send any extra info or demonstrate further interest.

Accepted. Sent the 7th semester grades along with an e-mail expressing continued interest last night…

Son accepted. Sent email expressing interest but still doesn’t have his 7th semester grades. Exams ended yesterday afternoon.

Got acceptance today around noon. I sent first semester grades but I don’t know if they had time to see them.

how do you go to application status and check if you’ve gotten in

Accepted yesterday around noon. Didn’t send in any extra grades of a letter of interest. 2080 SAT, 3.6 GPA

Accepted yesterday around noon as well. I did not send in any 7th semester grades or emails of interest because I thought I would be denied. Very excited about my acceptance!
29 ACT, 3.8 UW GPA

how were you notified that you got in?
