<p>99.9% of the time you're totally right. Those guys just aren't out there. Or if they are, they just haven't yet figured out how attractive/intelligent they are.</p>

<p>another thing about intelligence- it's a much more valued quality in males than females. Several people have told me that the higher a male's IQ, the more likely he is to get married, while females with higher IQs actually have LESS chance of getting married. I don't actually know if that's true, but the general trend seems to follow.</p>
<p>my first serious bf was a jerk...then the second one was less of a jerk...the third was even lesser...now my boyfriend now is absolutely wonderful to me. So I don't know. I just learned from my mistakes what I do and don't want in a guy, and I realized that I definitely do not want a jerk....unless he's a jerk to everyone else but you, then you're good.</p>

<p>Sometimes girls are really slow. They don't know a guy likes them, then everyone gets shy and introverted and nothing happens. Each then goes off and laments their failing love life.
I'd say just be honest about your feelings, if you like a girl (who is single), tell her and see what happens.</p>
