people are saying within a few days - I would guess bu Mon or Tues. My daughter submitted hers in Sept and no word at all -

I think it is a matter of hours, or the next day at most, until the decisions are posted once the four week message appears. Daughter’s said “four weeks” at bedtime, and we had checked earlier in the day. Decision was uo when she got up around 5:30 am.

For me it was the next morning. I checked it at 6 am and it was there

Does Uconn email you before you have a decision available? I applied late october, but due to me forgetting my password and having too many invalid login attempts, my Uconn id is locked and I have been too lazy to call customer support and get it corrected.

wellll then you should probably call them because otherwise you’ll have to wait for the letter

Ummm eromano333?? You should probably hope UConn admissions doesn’t follow this forum and/or can’t figure out who you are, because I don’t think you’re going to impress them with the “I have been too lazy to call customer support” , especially because you’re competing against applicants who are trying very hard to get in and have been showing their interest.

Actually, it seems that Uconn does look at this website. Someone posted a question about the early admission problem, and a rep from uconn posted a comment, and stated she was a rep or something similar.

I don’t think the university’s going to take that into consideration when making a decision. That can happen to anyone, and while its not great that you have no will to call admissions to clear up the problem, that isn’t really something that they can judge you on. IMO, it’s not too ethical. They’re supposed to look at gpa, classes, test scores, recs, essays, and extra currics. To go that far when looking at an applicant means a college doesn’t know how to pick the right students in the first place.

As BC1117 said, they really don’t care. However, in a sense, this is also like facebook, and you could say that colleges are now starting to look at facebook too. If you say anything really bad here, or if you posted something really bad on facebook, then it might effect you negatively. Please keep this in mind…

JUST GOT THE HALF-TUITION SCHOLARSHIP TODAY! wooooh so excited this is sick

Congrats Bdangle! Do you want to go to uconn?

I wouldn’t mind it at all. It’s my third choice after UNC and Wisconsin, but I’d need scholarships to those schools and that isn’t very likely. So yah right now it’s a better backup than UNH for me but I’d still love to go here

still haven’t heard back, and i applied nov. 9 :(

UCONN just moved to the top of his list… He always loved UCONN (big east fan etc). We visited last year but it is definitely time for another trip up there.

Congrats to everyone who got accepted. I hope I get a response back…Its my number 1 choice…

Just got in today!

Biomedical engineering
Honors Program
16k academic scholarship (already in Regional state program so my tuition is already basically in-state)

do you think that they could be doing it alphabetically? I applied in November, and my last name is at the very end of the alphabet, and I know somebody with the last name S got in on the seventh.

They said my son’s app was complete on Oct 26th and still haven’t heard. 3 of his friends already got in…very frustrating…

My daughter is still waiting as well, but one of her friends last name starts with W and she heard at least one month ago.

oh, and his last name begings with “B” so no, it’s not alphabetical
