@pskywalker at emory I was told that they really look at sophomore and junior year grades because they know freshman year is an adjustment year…

@Neurodude I got a 2100 (620 reading 800 math 680 writing essay:10). And I’m from a top 75 public school in the nation about 20 miles from Boston if this will help at all. My ecs are: Varsity Indoor and Outdoor track (Sprinting captain during Junior year) NHS, music honor society, math team, bio club, social justice club, pingpong club co-creater, debate team, soccer, and volunteering at a shelter, korean school, church, etc. I took all honors and aps throughout high school and took APUSH and Ap Physics 1 during junior year and I’m taking ap calc ab, ap psych, and ap stats during senior year. Is it also true that Emory gets rid of +/- s on grades? i.e A- = A =4.0

@pskywalker your overall SAT score is very good, so I wouldn’t worry too much about the one section. Also, its not a problem. I will have only taken six APs, though my school only offers about nine and two of them are the calc APs and I doubt we are expected to take both AB and BC. How many does your school offer?
