Congratulations!!! Best of luck in the new semester.

@misteruee I am pursuing a second bachelors.

Have any of you signed up for the planning day yet? I registered for June 11th, I’m worried about getting the classes I want with a June registration. Your thoughts?

@ssantana, where and when did you complete your first stint?

I completed my first bachelors in 2011 at a university in NJ.

natdcny and devme91,

where in the US do you guys live? i’m all the way in southern CA so i’m hoping it’s just taking an extra day for letter to get to me haha.

thanks!

NY, it’s very possible it could take longer.

I wouldn’t count on a Saturday delivery though. I feel just awful for those of you having to suffer through another weekend. It’s coming, relax! I was freaking and it all worked out.

ahh i know it’s a killer! thanks though

unfortunately, standard overnight is overnight delivery regardless of location.

and to my knowledge theres no saturday delivery on columbia’s choice of shipping. so anything sent out today will arrive on monday.

I’m in NY as well.

hi Natdcny and devme91,

do you mind telling us when your apps were completed and under review? thanks

The weird thing is they had my transcripts by late March but one was misplaced and found on Monday. Either they had made a decision without my high school records or reviewed my application during the week.

Congrats to all three people accepted today! This means time is cutting short for the rest of us. Good luck everyone!

I completed and submitted my application 2/23, it was processed two days later, and had been under review late last week/early this week.

Thanks for the details.
I submitted part I on 2/21, part II 2/24, Recommendation letters on 3/1 and 3/5, transcripts someday around 2/24, but they put them in the system on 2/27 and 3/11. SAT score already sent early Feb. they should’ve reviewed my app, this gives me an ominous feeling.

Congrats DevMe91 & Natdcny! The wait (torture) is for both of u!

I have the exact same feeling, fy. I was told by an admission manager that my application was under review nine days ago. I feel like they would have made a decision by now. I’m struggling to stay hopeful, but a gruesome despondence is beginning to take over me…

Exactly Denbal. in my case, i mean obviously they have seen my app and had a first impression, unfortunately, it was not pleasant. ergo, i’m either waiting for a rejection letter or they want to compare with other candidates. i wish i could do something to change their minds.

its tough to speculate because they dont seem to have a consistent mode of operation. some get an ‘under review’ email, some dont. when accepted, some get calls, some get emails, some get both, and some just get the golden package. ill piggyback on your comment fy2140, those who have yet to gain acceptance are perhaps not the strongest of candidates. therefore, those apps are being compared to the ones that are currently being reviewed.

I think you guys need to chill ( easier said then done I know ), you still have all next week to receive the “golden package”. If you don’t hear back by next week or even the after then yes I would assume the worst. Stay hopeful, try not to drive yourself nuts! I have a good feeling about the folks on this thread, whatever that’s worth.
