Binghamton has a very broad range for just their middle 50%. There are many people with very high stats that will not get in and people with lower stats that will. Nothing is guaranteed. There have already been instaters with lowish stats that got in and there will be many people with high stats that will get in and not even go. I don’t get where the guessing is coming from…it clearly states “newly admitted students only” and the very first post on this thread( from LATE March of last year) states it was gotten from an ACCEPTED student. It’s still early and they’re still working in admissions.

You might want to consider calling Admissions directly at 607.777.2171. I know that when I personally applied last year, students I knew who received that email were rejected from Harpur, but that doesn’t really mean it’s an absolute.

Able to log in it says Harpur Undeclared UG. When do you declare your major at Binghamton? I believe I put in biology but I’m not sure if that just means an area of interest or what. I hope this means I’m accepted–I want to get my letter so badly!

My D has 2000+ SAT, full IB diploma, unique (not hook) ECs, essays that have gotten handwritten notes from other acceptances saying they were the most interesting of the year (she is a professional writer), 93.8 unweighted, higher weighted (which is what’s reported and used at Bing.) Doesn’t have a quikpay account.
