Freshmen MT Class Sizes, Fall 2012

Just wondering if those who have been admitted for this fall know how many students are in their programs? Very curious as to what the class sizes are!
Thanks

Florida State MT: 9 (4 men and 5 women)

Florida State MT: 9 (4 men and 5 women)
James Madison MT (BA): 14 (6 men and 8 women)… larger yield than expected :). For fall 2013 we aim for a freshman class of 8 - 10.

Florida State MT: 9 (4 men and 5 women)
James Madison MT (BA): 14 (6 men and 8 women)
Texas State MT: 12 (6 men and 6 women)

@ Nccpdad, are those FSU numbers for the BFA or BM or both…? Thanks.

Both.

Florida State MT: (BFA) 6; (BM) 3 (4 men and 5 women total)
James Madison MT (BA): 14 (6 men and 8 women)
Texas State MT: 12 (6 men and 6 women)

Hey all:
It’s great the sharing of information here! I’m going to change the thread title from its current “Admissions Numbers” to “Freshmen MT Class Sizes, Fall 2012,” because admissions numbers is not really the same statistic as the size of the class. Many schools admit more students than the number of slots available. As well, I think it is good to stipulate that we are just talking the freshmen class and the one entering fall of 2012 as it will be more accurate as this thread remains on the forum in the future. Thanks to all who are contributing to gathering information.

There were also 13 sophomores admitted to the MT program this year, but since the OP asked about freshmen, I guess 15 is the number.

@Momcares

The NU numbers might be a bit confusing. Its still true isn’t it that NU does not admit anyone to its MT certificate program until AFTER a student’s frosh or soph year from its VP and Theatre majors? I think this list represents class of 2016 students. It might be more representative to list the number of admitted theatre students for class of 2016. Just a thought. . .
