…Is it safe?

So did anyone hear today?

So, is this done? Is everyone gone? Usually 5:00 on a Friday rolls around and the comments start rolling out…

still havent heard anything

have lost almost all hope

There’s so much contradictory information out there that there’s nothing to be done but wait.

Still waiting…:frowning:

like decisions for all ivies + peer institutions are out and yet they are telling us to wait by June 1st, which is typically the reply date for many transfers

Check out this article from the Hoya. http://www.thehoya.com/admissions-yield-reaches-50-percent-following-lowest-ever-acceptance-rate/

“Right now, because we have to be within the enrollment cap, we are essentially holding on transfer admissions,” Deacon said. “We are putting a moratorium on any further admits until we see where we are in the middle part of June at which point we may be able to offer a few more transfer admits.”

Might explain why no MSB applicants have heard back

Ouch! No more transfer admits until the middle of June? If they have to tell us by June 1st, they will probably just wait list everyone  and then let a couple people in after they make sure they are under the enrollment cap. This stinks.

I hope they send that out… it’d be nice to be kept better informed.

I called them today to see if my assumptions were right. They said that was “not necessarily true in all cases”.

I’m just a little confused @JoeJae do you think that means they’ll still accept people?

It sounded like there are still a handful of acceptances to go out, but a lot of people who would normally get accepted will be wait-listed until they know how many people they can let in, in mid June

What did y’all say was your reason for transfer in your personal statement?

So I called the admissions office today…they said that transfer students will receive an email on June 1st. There is no letter according to them. On another note, what schools are you guys attempting to transfer from? I’m currently a sophomore at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College

Accepted to SFS today!

nothing from MSB!
