Yeah hopefully!! I am studying for my last final right now and my ADD is raging....i just want to knoww. Does anyone know if the different undergraduate schools have different notification dates/schedules?

...Has anyone in MSB heard?

I have a feeling that some of the people who have already heard might have had an inside connection where a phone call was made...or maybe they are just outstanding candidates.

Just got my acceptance letter from Georgetown (College). I'm at a top 20 L.A.C. now and I have to choose between Georgetown and Emory (for pre-med, but I'm interested in international healthcare policy so tough choice, I wouldn't mind hearing people opinions!). Good luck everyone, maybe I'll see some of you next year!

my mailbox had a "we cant deliver an envelope" notice from USPS. i guess unless georgetown can't figure out the postage on their metered mail , its not from them.

Does anyone know how to do an internal transfer in Georgetown? I've been looking all over their website and I can't find one.

Dorkalert - You're going to major in international health but you're in the college? Isn't international health in NHS? I just checked the pre-reqs you have to do just to graduate with a degree in international health and I don't think it's possible to graduate on time if you want to finish up your pre-med requirements (you might need summer sessions). Emory is great if you're thinking about doing public health as the CDC is just nearby.

thanks northerngrl :) though i have to say i didnt realize so many of you are applying to MSB. makes me think that a lot of you just havent heard bc it doesnt seem like anyone here has gotten into MSB yet. i applied to the college :/ and apparently those decisions are for sure coming out.

woah, lemme try to address what everyone asked...

I'm sorry, I don't know when it was postmarked because I'm up at college and the letter was sent to my home, sorry.

I'm not majoring in international healthcare, I'm probably majoring in biology but I want to go into international healthcare policy after I get my MD (and probably practice for good number of years). Georgetown appeals due to their strong policy and international relations, but I wouldn't major in that, I would just utilize their various research resources and the vast resources in DC (though emory has the CDC right there which is a HUGE draw for me). I'd love any advice on this front cause I really have no clue.

My stats...actually not THAT great, SATs are (I think) 1980/2400...top 15 percent in HS, but at college I did better, 3.93 gpa plus I'm president of a club and did a lot of research. I'm actually neuroscience major here, georgetown doesn't offer a major in neuro which is another reason I'm leaning to Emory but I think I'd be just as happy with a bio major so I really don't know.

that post is a little annoying. so what? i want to transfer out of cornell like my life depends on it and it seems like pages and pages of people are dying to go there (their reasons escape me lol). there a few people who want to transfer out of even the very best schools (stanford, yale, etc.) its not really ironic that you want to transfer out of gtown and a bunch of people here want to get in, but w/e. you should probably elaborate a little more since you did decide to post that though.

guys, just relax. i understand its a tense time but come on. i know how afalcon feels. i'm at northwestern, applying to transfer out, and its really weird to see so many people on cc so intent on transferring in. there's no need to jump on him for such an innocent, if perhaps unnecessary comment

my post was in no way meant to jump on him. As my name implies, im just curious why he is not happy with Gtown. Seeing as i would like to see myself there next year, i think its important to know a current students impression of the school, whether positive or negative.

Hi guys! I'm applying to SFS and as I'm sure everyone can relate, the wait is killing me! I first decided I wanted to transfer to georgetown back in september so needless to say, I really hope I am accepted. I just have two questions: Have any applicants to SFS received come good news yet? Also, what size would those lucky few on this thread say that their envelopes containing acceptance letters are...like typical rejection letter size or like the size of those envelopes where papers fit without having to be folded? I apologize for the latter stupid question. Like northerngrl my ADD is also raging and instead of studying for finals, I am sitting at my desk wondering what the size of a particular envelope is exactly!
Good luck to everyone!
