I got the internship!!! Still in a state of shock. I will be in Mountain View, CA for the summer and I had my interview last Tuesday. Now I have to figure out some type of housing arrangements. Good Luck to everyone who is waiting to hear and to those of you who have heard not so great news, there is something out there for you!! :)

I had my in person interview on Tuesday and for those of you going it’s awesome. The questions are more about you and they want to gauge your “googleness”. Have fun and good luck!!!

The wait is horrible cause now im waiting to hear back! For those that already heard back did they call you or email you with the offer?

Good luck everyone! :)

They called.

Congrats tarheelbred! I have final interviews this tuesday, so we’ll see what happens.

heelydancer,

how long did it take after your 2nd round interview to get an final interview offer?

I GOT IT!!! MountainView Baby!!!

Congrats fuego!

To imani1029, it took me two weeks to get a final interview offer. Alot of people told me it would be one week so I was nervous, but I suggest not to worry :)

has anyone heard back from the finance department (after the onsite interview?)

to imani1029. I was notified the same day after my second round interview, which was actually my 3rd phone interview. But I see that it varies a lot on how soon they follow-up. Through the process, they’ve been pretty prompt when getting back to me. What department are you interviewing for?

Congrats Fuego305!!

hey everyone, i posted a few weeks ago that I got rejected from Google, but just wanted to let the posters who know me know that I got into JP Morgan instead

Congrats fuego and brazilian! Sorry to hear that Woodendynomite, i’m sure you will find something else instead :)

Hi guys! I’m the new kid on this forum - I just stumbled upon it today. It’s such a great community! I’ve also been invited to interview for BOLD - I had two back-to-back phone interviews in Feb. and just found out that I will be going on to a final round interview this week consisting of an office visit to Google New York. I know it is more to see if you’re a fit with Google, but what exactly happens at this? I see that some of you have had final round interviews. Do they put you in teams and make you do things? What kinds of things if so? Do they ask you about previous examples of leadership? Funny brain teaser or ice breaker questions? Are you alone or with a group? Do you feel like there are very different people in your group and how do you think you were being assessed by the recruiters? I saw some statistic by someone on this thread that read 300 get asked to do onsite interviews and of those, 150 people get chosen - is that true? Anyone actually already done an onsite at Google New York? Phew! Maybe I shouldn’t have saved all of my questions for one post…I have a case of super fear of the unknown! Thank you in advance fellow Googlers/potential Googlers! I can’t wait to finally have this so I can in return share my experience as well. Good luck to all on here!

Sorry, also how long do they take?

Hello dreamjulio! You def reminded me of me!

First, relax! You already made it thru the hard part! You are going to NYC so enjoy every moment. There are no brian teasers or anything crazy. It’s just to see your fit and how you relate to working with Google. They will just ask you questions about your leadership and experiences.

The statistic are true. They are taking 150 people this year. I flew out on Tuesday and I found out Friday. I’ll be in Mountain View doing Direct Sales.

Enjoy the moment and have fun, after all–it’s Google!

Keep us updated! :)

Haha OK How long does the entire office visit last?

I’m so excited! Thanks for your insight, fuego, you rock. If anyone else has any insight, we’d love to hear!

It was from like 9am-12pm they gave you breakfast and than they did a tour, the interview and than there was a panel for like a Q&A session and than you were done.

It’s fun so enjoy it! Hope to hear good news from you soon!

Hey everyone!

Congrats to all the people that got interviews and are onto their final rounds I’m sure you’ll all do awesome. And many congrats to those of you who have been offered a internship:)

I just had a question about the Bold immersion program for freshman since online it says the application will open in March 2011 but they still haven’t posted anything and I even e-mailed them about where to submit my application but no response. Any suggestions???

Thanks!!

Hey guys,
seems like i’m way behind in the process I JUST got an email last Friday with an invite to the first round phone interview for BOLD Marketing.

I’m ecstatic, but super scared because I have several other offers pending, and I have a 3 week deadline to accept/reject. Would you guys advise me to tell the recruiter upfront that I have a timing deadline, or should I mention it after my first round interview?

Also, if anyone has had the Marketing interview please let me know if you have any tips on how to prepare! I’m forever grateful! :)

I know when I had my second round (onsite) they said to let them know if we do…but idk
