<p>The residence halls are open during the summer. They only open one hall, though, to consolidate the on-campus housing -- last year, it was Rieber; the year before that, it was Dykstra. The heat in the residence halls can be unbearable around 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM when it hits ~85 degrees Fahrenheit; I recommend you purchase or bring along a gyrating fan to mount somewhere in the room. :rolleyes:</p>

<p>I never thought it was that bad. Then again, I've lived in a Japanese res hall without AC. THAT was bad.</p>
