<p>My daughter never saw the email. With Gibson portal info…she could have known days ago.
Actually, initially she was only excited in TCU. From which we will hear probably Monday…I think TU maybe better…we will now visit and see whether she likes Tu after all.
She got 20k…would it even make sense for her to apply for the other scholarships? Tulane is still way more expensive than TCU…even with merit aid …</p>

<p>Yes, Holly is our admissions counsellor. We also contacted Andrew, who is the contact for arts students. My D attended an arts high school for ballet, in North Carolina. She no longer wants to pursue a career as a pro ballerina, but instead arts and public policy. So she might minor in dance. Most likely major in political science. Anyway…both have been very responsive to our emails. Her GPA is just o Eric 3.6 (UW). Her SAT was just under 2000; very strong in CR and Writing and just average in Math. ACT was 29. Also lopsided between Reading/English and Math/Science. She will have completed 7 AP courses by end of senior year and 4 honors classes.</p>

<p>Just saw the Gibson acceptance at 9:30 am today, so they do post on weekends. I had checked late last night and it was blank. </p>

<p>Calmom - Naturally I hate to discourage anyone from trying, but for the DHS at least I am unaware of anyone that did not get at least the 2nd highest award winning. Since this is the first year for the Paul Tulane, there is no history to go on there. Certainly I suspect the situation will be the same with that award, but that’s only my intuition.</p>

<p>Nothing - no news:( I hope it is not because he will be deferred or wait listed…I can’t imagine he would be rejected! </p>

<p>Based on what people are reporting he should be in with money. I just don’t get it - why haven’t we heard yet?? He used the Universal App - did anyone else? Was this a mistake? He got a personalized app AFTER he already submitted the other one - hope this did not work against him. </p>

<p>This process is kind of torturous. It would be better if they just sent out all the responses on the same day.</p>

<p>Gibson has been blank for us for about 24 hours (but in a different way…it’s showing the Undergraduate Admissions (2013) heading which it hadn’t previously when things were blank).</p>

<p>The 15th will be here before we know it, so it’s probably best not to get to crazy at this point.</p>

<p>@mavitale that may be a sign that you are hearing soon, my friend’s gibson displayed “Undergraduate Admissions (2013)” and the rest was blank, and she checked back a few minutes later and was accepted.</p>

<p>We have seen that heading on our Gibson account too - we have seen every combination: blank, multiple entries, etc. Still nothing…</p>
