hows this for a Personal statement?

Hello, I am the "new guy" in here.
I have written an essay and I am afraid that it does not reveal my personal traits. I think I have burned myself with too much literature and that my personality has been lost in it.
I might have to write another essay and I have run short of ideas. Can anyone give a positive response by looking at the essay?
Any comment on simple typos, grammatical errors, flow, conclusion, etc is highly appreciated.
Thankx!

hows it for a Personal Statement??

Thankx guys!

If you still need help, I'll read, since you're reading mine.

Yeah! I dont have to write a new statement (Big Sigh of relief)
And yes, I would love more readers.

i'll read it!!!

i'll read too!

on second thought, what do you guys says say I dump the essay and start a new one?

the middle of the essay is a bit weaker than the rest, but the ending is very nicely done.

Mickey, are you really gonna scrap it? Are you gonna have to write a new one on the same topic? Ouch!!

That's what I loved about common app - no specific essay prompt. I could truly write about whatever I wanted to write, that could show who I am in the best way possible.

But you are right, the essay is a little impersonal. But geez, that essay topic is impersonal! If you rewrite using the same book, write less distantly. Say how your goals have changed rather than what the book says. Say how your life has truly been AFFECTED - talk about YOU! That's what kind of gets lost in this process... the people behind the text.

ill read ot...

ill read it

People a lot reading and not much commenting going on!!!

I'll read and give suggestions

i will read it
