actually, i sent in my application to UT:Austin around november 15, and i just got my admissions decision today, december 14 [Accepted]. i'm out-of-state [Maryland], so i don't apply for top-10% and my high school does not rank.

so perhaps out-of-state decisions are just coming in?

UHSdebater-- I didn't get a stinkin' shirt!! That would have been awesome.

I did get accepted in October to McComb's and am waiting to hear back from the honors program. It only took them a day or two to give me a decision (Im in state). Hook 'em!

thanks everyone :) and good luck to all who are waiting to hear!

i don't know whether or not i'm going to attend, jhb. this weekend i also got accepted to stanford, which i totally didn't expect, so a lot of my plans have been thrown for a loop. i have some... soul-searching... to do.

btw, you guys seem A LOT friendlier than the people over at the stanford boards. they're practically killing each other over EA decisions... haha. it's pathetic :)

Well, of course he's in, if he's top 10%. Don't worry, I'm in the exact same situation. I'm top 10% (val, actually :)) but I'm still waiting for the letter lol.

I'm not sure about Plan II, because I applied AFTER early consideration. Since you made the deadline, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to get a decision before December 19th. Since today's the 17th, you've got two more days ;)

i'll be applying sometime in the next 2 weeks....I'm OOS from northern Virgina...hoping that if I get in, I can afford.....I have a 3.9 UW gpa and a semi-low sat score (1720), top 10% and hispanic......I'm hoping that my essays will be interesting enough (seeing how im picking interesting topics..)
