Anyone else having trouble focusing?! Ketones, aldehydes, jones reagent, PCC… What is going on in my organic chem class?! All I can think about is this scholarship!
Same here. Came in runner up tonight for the distinguished grad award of my class. 2nd place, so disappointed. Mentally prepare all you want, but stress is stress until a definitive answer is given.

@FutureNurse2018, It’s messing with my sleep. I had a dream last that I got it and then I woke up and nothing has happened yet.
Is really killing me. I just hope they don’t fail us this week. Last year by this time they were sending emails to certain applicants asking them whether they have heard from the schools they have applied for. Have any one gotten any email or heard anything similar to this?
Hi all! I found this thread from all the snooping I was doing online trying to find out more about the transfer scholarship. It’s good to know I’m not the only one who has serious bags under my eyes from the lack of sleep!
@sosm1301 welcome to the forum. I hope you take the time to read some of the past post on this forum. The adrenaline is getting high in this forum.
I haven’t received any emails. It’s making me anxious that nobody in this forum has heard anything from them yet!
I called again and was told late April by a different woman than I spoke to the first time… I really hope that isn’t the case.
I also talked to the same guy I emailed with who said late March, and he just said “Unfortunately, at this time, the latest information, that we have is that the notifications of award will be made either late March or even early April.” 
@Georgemk, from what I read it matters who is working on the applicant’s application because some people got the email and some who won the scholarship didn’t. Also some who got the email didn’t win the scholarship.
@kyriephilbrook, I think part of it is because they have other scholarships and they might not know much about the transfer scholarship process and when applicants are supposed to be notified.
I just spoke to someone who told me that the scholarship winners would all be notified via a phone call by the end of March. And everyone else would be notified via email sometime in April. I don’t know if that’s true though given all the different things we’ve been told…
@sosm1301 I sincerely hope so… that only leaves 6 more days though! And that’s if they even do notifications on weekends, which I’m not sure they do.
@kyriephilbrook and @sosm1301, I’m getting the same date of late March for letting scholars know and early April for all others. @kyriephilbrook, who are you getting when you email? I’m getting someone named Todd.
I rememeber reading someone’s post from last year that missed a call from JKCF on Friday and couldn’t call back until Monday since they were closed! She ended up calling Monday and they notified her that she won!
Not a transfer student, but regular college scholarship applicant, my son just received a phone call from Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. He is not home, at a performance tonight, so she said to have him call her tomorrow and that it was good news!
That’s great news! Congrats!! Did they tell you end of March too?
I never called, just waited impatiently.
@NashvilleCat and @Futurenurse2018, maybe there isn’t too much more of wait for us waiting to hear about the transfer scholarship since there was only suppose to be a week or two difference from the college scholarship scholars be announced and the transfer scholars being announced.
