January 2010 SAT Score Prediction

anyone answer?

CR - 760-800 (-2 SC really stupid carelessness, and maybe some other problems wrong)
M - 760-800 (probably made one or two dumb mistakes)
W - 760-800 (picked A for agency question, got that wrong?; essay was alright though, filled all two pages w/o a word to spare)

Math- 800
CR- 680 ish?
Writing- 720 (I think I did really well on the essay but it depends what the graders think :P)

Billsrage- Although I got all the math questions right, I did have trouble on several of them, it was a lot harder than I had expected
Writing- Some tricky ones but not too too bad
CR- Same as always

@Ammadsh54
CR: 690 - 710
M: 730
W: 730
Total: 2150 - 2170

@costanza712
Judging by everyone’s attitude about difficulty, there will be a harsh curve for math, normal for cr, and generous for writing
CR: 800
M: I don’t know whether you counted the extra point you lose, so 700-720
W: 800
Total: 2300 - 2320
I do think you could have broken 2300. :slight_smile:
Unless you get a lower score on the writing… but I think you’re good.

Thank you for answering sunshower212 =).

@tmanneopen
You’re right on CR, but there will most likely be a harsh curve for math so -2 is 750. I have no idea how much a 7 or 8 essay drags down your score, but you’re probably about right… you might have gotten a little higher due to a generous writing curve.

what would a:
-10 CR (no omits)
-5 M (2 omits)

look like?
and how is everyone calculating their score?

@abashaq93
CR: about 660-690 (again, idk whether you took off the extra points yet, if you did, 690)
M: 780
W: about 700-710
Total: 2140 - 2180

So I guess I’m probably not breaking the 2300 mark, but very close, like 2280 or 2290, which I’m still very happy about :D. Also who knows, maybe my essay is better than I thought.

alrite wat is
-8 CR -1 M -2W with 9 essay

@whisperofrain
You’re looking at a 660 CR and 690 M, so about 1350/1600
Someone posted a link on a different thread with a list of curves sorted by difficulty.

silverturtle, I’m changing my math 800 to a 90% possibility. What about you? :P

@elsenorchris
CR: 690 if you didn’t take into account losing 1/4 point for each of those, 710 or 720 if you did
M: 780
W: 770-790, 800 if you’re really really lucky (you can never know what the essay graders think)
Total: 2240 - 2300

thanks sunshower,
but I’m confused about what you said for @elsenorchris:
“690 if you didn’t take into account losing 1/4 point for each of those, 710 or 720 if you did”

what do you mean, take in account 1/4 point? I think I made 10 actual errors. Do I need to do something with the 1/4 also? (I’m clueless :P)

Revised Predictions

Critical Reading: 800
Confidence: 91%

Math: 800
Confidence: 89%

Writing: Still not sure, but I’m more optimistic: I may have got all the multiple choice questions correct. Assuming I get 10 on the essay, that’ll be 800.
Confidence: 45%

Critical Reading: 800 (95%)

Math: 800 (90%)

Writing: 800 (60%) I’m going to predict a 10 on the essay and -0MC, although I think I could have earned a 11/12 on the essay, actually.

I think this will be it
CR-630
M-620
W-720

But I want
CR-650
M-650
W-740

Hopefully, this forum can beat CC’s results from last month. There were only two 2400ers then: mifune and monstor.

silverturtle, I really hope you and I can be two this January. And I saw a few other people who said they think they got 2400. So maybe we can get ~5 or so.
