quote was the answer to the segment one…
[/quote]
Do you guys all think that it was [8, 8]? I answered that it wasn’t actually an interval because I thought it would be two individual points since the X axis isn’t a plane but it’s more like a line.

Yeah, it was 1.89 or something.

^It was D, I think 1.886, not 1.876. I zoomed in around three times and used the intersect feature on that one.

hkim: "The question pi^(2-r) / pi^(r) (or something like that)…what was the answer? "

I think the question was pi^(2-r) / pi^(2). And so the answer is 1/ pi^(r). But I may be wrong so confirm it.

Yeah, that, I remembered it ended in a .886 ish or something. I just used intersects.

It was more like x^(2-r)/x^2 which ended up being 1/x^r

I did not have a graphing calculator. Would have made the job much easier.

Anyways, for the 2^x question. I just put a random option in the equation and it satisfied. BOOM! Got the answer. :D

Veeeeery easy test. 1 omit. All else correct imo.

For the one with the circle that has center (r, q), is the answer A?

But it’s in the second quadrant, so it would be -q, right? Which makes A wrong, only if there was a -q in there somewhere…

fmlfmlfmlfml

No, it was C because r = -q because its in the second quadrant

Hubrid: "No, it was C because r = -q because its in the second quadrant "

Correct.

So far my raw score seems to be about 33-34. I hope I don’t have any more wrong, and I hope there is a decent curve(-8 omit=800 or - 20 = 700.) Does anybody know what the best curve possible is?

I left 4 questions, so that has got me a little worried. I am hoping I did not have more than 2 questions wrong.

sothis: -7 = 800 is the BEST possible curve, but it is highly doubtful, as this test wasn’t so hard

Yeah… I thought the Dec. 3rd one was much tougher than this one.

Maybe it’s just because it is finals week right now, so my brain is just on a thinking-hyperdrive.

hkim, i said 1/(pi^r)

anyone else put that?

wait wait wait…
for the r and q questions… didn’t it ask the radius of the circle?
