i got 11-14 wrong, but i left 9 blank. -_-

"Many of the most successful Muslim missionaries were Sufis, the mystics of Islam. Sufism stresses a direct, unstructured and personal devotion to God in place of the more ritualistic outward observance characteristic of mainstream Islam."

Windows on Asia

llpitch: i am curious... What sort of preparation did you have for this sat II? I thought doing well in my AP world class was enough... So far, I got ~22 wrong (what score would that be? 3 of which were omits)..... all of which were details that i have never learned before...

Oh well w/e I missed 10 then. Still an easy 800.

I had a really good AP World class this year. To refresh myself before the SATII I just read from Barrons AP World from prehistoric->1750.

^ I did the same, except my class probably wasn't as good as yours. We pretty much covered the 20th century through videos, so I didn't know as much (believe it or not) about that time period. Eh, mid 700's is good enough for me.

I'm pretty sure that number 19. did not ask for all of the following except, which means that the "more births" answer is incorrect

I have 9/10 wrong, and 3 blank... 800?

Britain trade with China: Tea(considering Britain's major import from China was TEA)

Hmm can you elaborate on this? I think British gave silver to Chinese.

Yes

78. Britain trade with China: Tea(considering Britain's major import from China was TEA)
[/quote]

The question had something to do with the British trade with China. The answer was Britain trading opium for Chinese tea, or something to that extent.

Does anyone remember the possible answers for 78 (the opium question)? I can't remember what I put...

very ironically, our school was bestowed the title "best ap world class in the world" because so many students take it and get at least 3's...

you guys are so smart! Seems like EVERYONE got an 800 here.. =)

South America Silver ended up in: China

Can someone elaborate on this??? Cuz I don't believe that was the answer. (Tell me the question.)

From 1450-1750, China was essentially the world's largest consumer of silver. Considering Spain was the biggest supplier of silver in the world (due to all the mines in South America), it makes sense that most of the silver from South America was traded to China.

Does anyone remember the answer choices for the opium question?

how does
omit 17 miss 12 sound? That would be like the worst possible case for me

yeah it was like why did Britain introduce opium to China?
And the answer was to have some thing to trade for tea

I know that, I'm asking what the other answer choices were.

And omit 17 miss 12 is a raw score of 63, so it's around 710-730.
