Since we're done talking about the questions, do any of you have any idea what the curve for this test will be? Lower? Same? Higher?

I thought the test was a bit easier than the practice tests I took, so the curve might be higher.

Wasn't there a question on the language origin of a list of words (algebra, alchemy, zenith, alcohol, cypher)? The answer's Arabic, but it might be from one of the practice tests.

Wasn't there a question on the language origin of a list of words (algebra, alchemy, zenith, alcohol, cypher)? The answer's Arabic, but it might be from one of the practice tests.

That's a practice test question.

Do you mean the practice tests in the Books?.. I felt this test was more challenging than the official one in the subject tests study guide.

I took the practice tests from the history collegeboard book (it had the test from the big subject tests book and another one).

The test was about the same as the first one in the CB book and easier than the second one. It's gonna be anywhere between 15-20 wrong for 800.

5 blank, 8/9 wrong...raw score of 80 or 79. Whats the raw score you guys expecting for 800?

NO ru kidding, the real one was harder than the practice ones in the blue book

6 blank, 11 wrong.... that's -20 yay me :) that's just an 800

0 blank 10 wrong probably for my 800.

I have one more question answer:

Portugese expeditions near West Africa found: Sugar Plantations can be Grown there.

^I thought the answer to that question was that the Portugese found that West African merchants were eager to trade.

JML641 is right..

yeah i remember the trade answer.

K never mind.

I'm not saying i thought it WAS the answer, im saying i remember it BEING one. i also remember one being that the west africans were too occupied with some other trade to do anything wth the portuguese. i forget what i chose for this question.

No, it was.. I looked it up... The Portugese made West Africa a trading place. i answered sugar plantations cuz the Portugese made plantations on the islands near West Africa. (Cape Verde, Canary) =\ Overpreparing does bad things sometimes lol.

So here it comes...
So before I start crying or celebrating about my score, I would really want a rough score prediction.

I skipped 10 and predict around 15~18 incorrect...

SOMEONE please tell me within the next 29 hours what that score would be so I can stop banging my head against the wall..:(

Thats a raw score of 62-66, thats about 620-660, given that the raw score of 80 is 800 (which is the apex point after which the score starts falling to 790, 780, etc according to the Princeton Review Prac Test) But with test you could expect 650-690. And anyways im guessing 15-18 wrong is the worst you're expecting, so maybe even higher than 690 :P

Is 9-11 wrong with none blank a guaranteed 800?
