anyone take E?
what were the answers for the snake diagram?
the question asked which structure is best left as a vestigial for watersnake (name?) I put the heat sensing jaws (or something) because i thought they lived in water and it woudnt do them much good sensing heat in water.
I cant remember any other questions from the snake section..

And for the first answer in section E,
it asked something with Pleoiploidy (***? sp?) what the hell was that? I put that it would be seen less frequently than in diploids, but i wasnt sure between that and "it would be seen more more frequently than in monoploids"

uhh..isnt it against collegeboard rules to disscuss SAT II questions? ..or is that only AP ?

How bout that one where the plant was in the dark for 24 hours. What was it doing continuously?

I got at least 2 wrong... is it still possible to get an 800?

so natural selection is based on reproduction and not survival, right?

also the darwin question, was it recessive alleles could be covered (the right answer since it went against natural selection)?

I don't think Darwin knew about alleles, so I put that one.

durt--- i'm pretty sure it's only respiration...
and... so if you get 4 wrong (guessing) do you still have a shot at 800?
also, did you guys get a lot of Bs in the m section?

lol ..he didnt..mendal's discoveries became known YEARS later.... o and

"uhh..isnt it against collegeboard rules to disscuss SAT II questions? ..or is that only AP ?"

Somebody answer..

Why is noone posting?

Easy test ^ that's why :)

In response to one of the above questions, I put cyanobacteria had no cell membrance because it's a prokaryote.

it was so easy! i was expecting it to be hell!

The answer was not cell membrane, because prokaryotes have that. It was mitochondria, because they have no organelles.

Can someone make a list of the answers?

Also, in response to this question: 5. darwin didn't state that.... organisms produce similar ones?

I think I put the answer about recessive, because it sounded correct the way they worded it. not sure

to hell with the people who thought it was easy....

I FAILED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW COME NO ONE HERE THOUGHT IT WAS HARD? IS EVERYONE HERE GOING TO HARVARD?

Can someone list the answers for the karyotype???

"Bacteria lack a nuclear membrane and membrane-bound organelles. Biochemical processes that normally occur in a choloroplast or mitochondrion of eukaryotes will take place in the cytoplasm of prokaryotes. Bacterial DNA is circular and arrayed in a region of the cell known as the nucleoid. Scattered within bacterial cytoplasm are numerous small loops of DNA known as plasmids. Bacterial genes are organized in by gene systems known as operons.

Zachsta your right about Darwin.

chat name: sat2bio

i don't think darwin knew about recessive alleles

Haha yes he did.

Anyways, how do you guys think the curve will be?
