I wonder if the students who got the merits are already intimated and the rest of us got nothing.

I trust not. My S18 received a decent merit scholarship when he applied and would have accepted LMUâs generous offer but ultimately felt UCLA was a better fit for him. Is it your son or daughter applying this year? Either way, donât lose hope!

Would you mind sharing merit amount from LMU and your childâs stats?
Certainly. My son received an Arrupe Scholarship of $19K per year, $76K over four years, plus the EA $2K annually. Estimated Cost of Attendance that year was ~$68K so his net cost would have been ~$47. As for stats, his weight academic GPA was 4.44, ACT 33 and seven APs, 200+ volunteer hours.

Thank you and indeed for him. He managed to graduate a year early and will be attending law school this fall at UCI. Anyway, fingers crossed for our daughters!

Daughter got email with $30k Presidential Scholarship sometime last week. Hope that is not discouraging for anyone who has not heard anything, just trying to be helpful in posting.

Probably means that the Presidential scholarships have already been notified (for high stat kids) and the others will get other scholarships/aid if any.

Havenât heard anything on my daughterâs. Her unweighted 3.98\ weighted 4.4. Seeing all the ones whoâve been notified for presidential is really deflating. She went test-optionalâŠ.so, Iâm wondering how much they place on tests. Good luck to you, HumbleTeen. Fingers crossed.

Only two parents shared their child was notified about the presidential last week. Thereâs still the Arrupe scholarships to go out so please donât lose hope/trust!

my daughter just recieved an email saying the update wpuld be posted later but when she went to the portal it was ready to be seen. Very disappointedâŠ

My daughter just got offered the $9500 annual scholarship and the $2000 EA award. Is the $2K EA award for all four years?
