cubed...
the event was not for only accepted students but the top 5% of black/latino aplicants...

I don't know about the top 5% stat, especially since about half the blacks/latinos in the incoming class attended BSAI...

Nonetheless, I hope you guys had a wonderful time here this past weekend. I personally didn't get to bed until, oh about 6am, so I obviously had a really good time at the step-show after party.

I spoke on the Real Deal panel, so I had the opportunity to speak/see to lots of you. If you have anymore questions, feel free to post them. I'll try to reply as soon as I can - afterall, this is Duke, and I have mad work to do. ;)

Yea, I have a question, how good is the economics program at Duke? I know it's a popular major, but I'm wondering if the e-con dept. is as big and renown as public policy at Duke?

does anyone who went to BSAI remember a Morgan Bradford or have her sn/email by any chance?

yeah i remember morgan...tall light skinned....she was hot hahai have her phone number

I'll PM you

PM me, too. =)

Like you said, econ is a really popular major here. It's also quite difficult. The two intro classes, 51 and 55D are no joke, so I suggest taking them if you really like econ, not just to say you did it. They can be GPA wreckers.

Hey you guys applied to Duke and are in the same situation as me. I took the old SAT and made 690m and 650v but on the new SAT did much lower. I am going to just send my ACT score which should be around 28-32ish. Would that hurt me? is that a bad idea not to take any SAT2. It is hard to take off time for all these test for work and pay for it so I hope that admission understand taking one test ACT is easier than taking a bunch of SAT's. So I hope you would help me, I am hispanic and live in NC. Should I even bother applying?
Thanks
Kayla
good luck with your upcoming year in college!!!
