I like cliffs notes a lot for AP revision…

Anyone have experience and or advice for the ap computer science exam?

I’m taking it this year but my friend who took it last year told me it was REALLY easy. If you’ve actually programmed, and you slightly review some of the language rules, you should be more than fine. He got a 5 without studying. If you do want to feel prepared, I’d say buy barrons, that’s what people seem to recommend the most. Most importantly, TAKE PAST TESTS just like you should for any other AP test.

Thanks, I’ve been doing a ton of programming this year, so I hope it will help. The class - my teacher that is -is challenging though, I’ve never worked so hard for an A.

@Fredsterboard I do like 5 steps to a 5. Last year, I used the 5 steps for AP US History and got an easy 5, but then again, it was US History. And does the collegeboard book have ALL the subjects in it? Because I’d buy it, but then again I’m only taking SAT Chem and SAT Math 2, so I don’t want to waste my money.

@SigmaVGC Thanks for the sparknotes tip! So does Sparknotes also have practice tests too (for both SAT Math 2 and Chem)? I feel like I learn a lot from just doing practice tests over and over again.

@Twis7ed Thanks! Have you taken the online practice exam from that Crash Course book yet? Is it any good? Like how well does it match the new curriculum? I just hate how we are the 1st year with the new tests, so we don’t have any exams that are really similar to the new format.

If you actually program then seriously, you have nothing to worry about. Even GridWorld is easy because they give you the reference pamphlet, so you just have to be somewhat familiar with what the project is about. Like I said, just take some past tests and see where (if any where) you are falling short and review that so you’re comfortable. Don’t over study for this test, your time would be invested more wisely on any of your other tests.

@lucckystar888 You’re welcome, but unfortunately no. I’ll have to find another method of finding a way to practice a SAT Chemistry test beforehand. I’ll advice you if I do happen to stumble across a really good one!

Anyone else stressing about the BC Calc and Physics C exam? So much content tested!!!

Took AP CS… Easy… And yeah… Taking calc BC

Did anyone apply for Questbridge? The results just came in.

Yeah I did!! Questbridge scholar woo!!

I didn’t apply :/

What prize did you get? I didn’t get it, I think it might’ve been my income which was marginally above what their recommended amount was. Also, I did the app last minute and had some typos in the essays.

@Ginnymills CONGRATS!!

Yeah I didn’t apply to Questbridge cause my income was slightly higher too.

I’m feeling the 25th release day now…

Questbridge scholar as well!
