Rejected…
Well, life goes on
Big congrats to everyone who made it into one of the three!
Have fun!

Oh and
@AmaranthineD : full ride to Berkely?!? That’s amazing! Congratulations!

I got into MOSTEC! I honestly thought I wouldn’t get into any one of the three programs since I’m the typical Asian kid…

I didn’t get an email… Does that mean I got rejected…

Hi guys,
It is strangely amazing how we, all strangers, are able to connect with each other even though we have never met. Through the waiting process, I have read some of your comments and felt greatly inspired. You guys care for your education so much and take initiatives fearlessly. No matter whether you got in or not, I hope everyone feels motivated by each other and see that human relationships truly beautify life. Hope to see some of you this summer.

I got into E2!!! It’s been a journey guys, and I really want to thank all of you for being with me during the waiting process. It was hard, but I got through it just by reading all of your great posts, which alleviated a lot of the tension from February to now.

I seriously didn’t think I wasn’t going to get in because of my ethnicity (Both of my parents were from China). This just proves that no one should be discouraged to apply if they held a certain ethnic background. Sure it’s something to consider, but I know that OEOP can really see beyond that aspect and considers students who display a passion for engineering, ambitious goals, and great characteristics. This can be shown only through the essays. When they say the best storyteller wins, the best storyteller really does win. That’s something that everyone should take into account when writing their college applications later on.

I wish all of you guys luck in the future! Don’t let rejection be your nemesis, let it be an incentive to work harder. Your dreams will come true if you show grit from high school onward.

IM SCARED TO CHECK

Haha, it I guess it is true that you can’t predict didley with these things! The glitches turned out to be really glitches, a lot of ‘non-minorities’ got in, people who seemed to fit the ‘characteristics’ were denied, ext! That actually excites me a bit to know that these admissions processes are really in depth and that nobody should be discouraged to apply, odd things happen! AB - CHECK! It might just be a whim but I have a gut feeling you got in lol. Idk why, but I just had that feeling from reading your post xD. Completely superstitious over here.

I GOT E2!!! CRYING!!!

SEE XDXD. CALL ME SUPERNATURAL

@AmaranthineD not bad at all! congrats on your Berkeley scholarship!! =D>
