<p>For those that didn’t get in, don’t be discouraged! I’m surprised it didn’t happen to me, but yeah, you can be sad and then get over it! Summer is a fantastic time to get into a project or do something productive that you can’t manage during school. Like others have said, people that didn’t get into MITES have gotten into MIT and vice versa. Basically, you can still have a great summer, so I hope you do:)</p>

<p>I got into E2! But I was just wondering, do they fill spots in MITES of those who choose not to accept the position from a waitlist or from the other programs?</p>
<p>I doubt it. @sewj97 But E2 will probably be awesome as well so don’t worry about it

<p>@sewj97 I’m pretty sure they have a waitlist for every program. I don’t think MITES would accept people from other programs because it’s a lot harder to transition one student from, let’s say, MOSTEC, to MITES and then fill someone up again for the MOSTEC student who just transitioned to MITES.</p>

<p>@Mathmaticious I’m sure! It’s just that I might have to be back at my school (I go to a boarding school) by August 3rd if I am accepted for a particular position on my residence hall…E2 starts the same day. But I’m still thrilled that I got in!</p>
