@3scoutsmom @jamcafe Great news and congrats! I am hopeful my D will get her scores soon. Believe or not, not knowing her score actually helped her focus on the final exams.
Good news @JAMCAFE
So no one is getting the access code by email? The scores are just loading with no other notification.
Did anyone get an access code from their GC and then have it not work? That just happened to me.
Our GC said the access codes they received last Wednesday don’t work.
I spent an hour on hold with CB last night only to be disconnected. I’m on hold again now but even if I do get to talk to an actual person I don’t expect anything to come of it. I don’t know why I’m even bothering at this point.
And this is the email our school sent out a few minutes ago. I guess the Guidance department is giving up on getting online scores.
Good morning,
I am wrting this morning to update you on student PSAT score reports. I just received an update from Collegeboard and we should have score reports during the first week of February. As soon as they are received from Collegeboard they will be distributed to students and an email with score report interpretation information will be sent home to parents on that day.
Received this DM from CB last night:
We’ve reviewed her account and it looks like scores are currently delayed. Have you received any email communication from us or your counselor? Unfortunately, we don’t have the specifics of the delay. We recommend contacting PSAT Services at 866-433-7728 (U.S.) or 212-713-8105 (Int’l) for more specific information.
I am preparing for having no score for a long long time
@Bearsgarden I received the same DM from CB on Monday.
That is basically what my D’s GC is saying. I asked for an escalation with CB and will continue to followup. I think if we settle for accepting the paper score report and don’t keep pushing for them to deliver an online report as promised we will just see the same issues with the SAT.
Providing customer service (even bad customer service) costs money. The CB seems to put money first, so I will continue to escalate and encourage others that did not get the results they were promised to do the same.
After waiting on hold for 45 minutes this morning I spoke to someone, and got nowhere. I want to throw my phone at the wall! I am so frustrated.
I told them I received a message stating my son’s scores are delayed and I need to call to discuss the delay because they can’t assist me via email.
She double checked my son’s information and gave me the same load of BS I’ve been hearing for days now. Yes, all his information is correct. I see there are scores associated with his account, but I’m not able to see the scores and your case has already been escalated. It takes 4-7 business days so you should be hearing from someone by the end of next week.
I don’t understand how half, more than half, (I have no idea how much) of the country has their scores and we don’t. It’s a complete disadvantage to students trying to prepare for the March SAT. My son just wants to know what his strengths and weaknesses are and what to focus on. And our school just doesn’t care. All I get from them is wait until the first week of February for the hard report. Which by the way, last week I was told they were coming end of January, so now it’s been pushed back to first week of February. Will we actually get the hard reports before the March SAT. Doubtful.
I signed my son up for the February ACT which he will take as a practice and to get a baseline and we’ll just go from there!
Someone somewhere at the CB knows what is going on with these kids’ scores but they are not sharing. @mamma1st I am with you, the minute we can ditch the CB, we will without any hesitation. Sad that over the years I have paid SO MUCH $$$ to the CB, 28 APs, 8 subject tests, 3 SATs, and many score orders, between the 2 kids, well over $3K. Now the only test that administered and counted only once, we are left in a limbo.
mama1st reported that CB said “I see there are scores associated with his account, but I’m not able to see the scores and your case has already been escalated. It takes 4-7 business days so you should be hearing from someone by the end of next week.”
That was the same script I was read.
I got the same script. I asked for the case number of the escalated request so I can followup.
I really can’t believe this is going on so long I wish the national news would get involved and do an in depth investigative report.
What really drives me batty is when people who have already gotten scores say things like, “Make sure you check his account for the scores. When I checked, they just popped right up!” Ok, I have checked his account about 5 million times. They are not “popping up” because they haven’t actually been released yet. Over 400 kids at our school are waiting on their scores, which have not been released yet. So, you know, it would be nice if people stopped acting like we’re somehow doing something wrong. -sigh- end rant
Finally talked to someone today at CB who after supplying her with all the info, gave me the access code. I input it and it says" we can not locate your scores with the code provided". I still had her on the line, so she said to try again, which I did until the account became locked out. She tells me that she has no idea how long that will take to unlock but try back later…which I do, but of course the access code is still wrong! Back on hold again!!
And now it is getting escalated…5-7 business days
I got locked out too!
Still no score here in MD. Counselors dont know about access codes, all the classmates who have checked do have their scores online. What makes me more upset is that collegeboard has not said anything about these delays! At this point just release everything else…
How ironic is it that CB went through all this trouble to redesign their SAT in order to compete with the ACT, but in the end they’re just gonna turn an exponentially larger amount of people away from them altogether. Karma is a B huh?
I’m pretty upset about not having scores. A bunch of kids from our school got access codes, which all return a “could not find scores with this access code” message on the add scores button. We got our test booklets back, but that literally doesn’t help at all. Ordinarily I wouldn’t mind, but I need this score to apply to a summer program.
I called CB again today, this time I was told they have no way to provide the neccessay access code and I need to wait until Jan 29 to receive the paper score. There will be no access code mailed to us (homeschoolers). They said my son must have bubbled the information wrong on this test. We have been receiving emails from a couple of colleges and Khan about test prep, where did they get our email address? This was my fifth call to CB and fifth different answer. I am not believing anything I hear from them.
