Hey - I'm not Buckwald, but here's some info on Rice/Baylor (Please e-mail me if you have other questions about the program!):

Michigan's program was unfortunitely terminated a few years ago. Northwestern, Rice, Brown, and Case Western all have amazing programs that don't require the MCAT. Other great programs, are Penn State, Michigan State, Miami (FL), Lehigh, Drexel, Boston University, Rochester, and USC. Thier are a bunch of other solid one's, but those are my personal top two categories for programs.

Thank you very much jenskate1 and buckwald. This is very helpful information. Thanks a lot once again!!

I have an interview in the first week of February. Any suggestions for the interview. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Do you have interview with Northwestern or MSU

I have an interview with Northwestern

What are your stats?

Btw.. pakiman87 what school do you go to? In what state?

I called the HPME program to find out if I had been selected for an interview or not, and the lady told me that she didn't have any information on my status, but that the notifications are sent on a rolling basis, and only a "handful" had been sent out so far.

My stats are as follows
SAT V 780, M 750, SAT II Chem 790, Math 790, Writing 750, ACT 35
Captain of the tennis team, Summer job at a local hospital physician shadow program, volunter work at a convalescent center, etc. etc. All possible AP courses. If someone has gone thru an interview, please let me know how trhe interview was.

Ha, Im pakistani too. Its funny how the pool of applicants for these programs is all brown people. I bet it is an advantage to be white.

just got interview invitation... gonna interview feb 3 or feb 7... good luck to rest of you that haven't heard anything yet..

Did they call you or send you invitation by email or mail

i don't want to put anyboyd in the spotlight, but did they hand out any declines?

mistaippa I got an interview as well, did you select the time/date ? or do they give it to you when you call them? What do you mean Feb 3rd of Feb 7th ? you pick ?

i had a choice between the dates available they gave me
i have chosen feb 3rd, since superbowl is feb 7 ha, don't wanna travel feb 6

hi everyone.
i'm hoping for an interview also and was just wondering if anyone knew any specifics about the actual interview. who do you talk to, how long is it, what kind of things are you asked, how do you prepare, is it formal or informal, etc.
any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, I just got an interview offer by email. Any answers to the following questions are hugely appreciated:

What's the latest date I can interview? I'm overseas in Hong Kong and I'm going into mock exams soon - can't get out of them.

How likely is it that I will be accepted if I have no research experience (outside of the IB Extended Essay) whatsoever?

Does HPME see your university undergrad application and essay? I'd like them to see my undergrad app essay.

I'm a US citizen overseas in Hong Kong - does this help or hurt my chances? (Trying to gauge whether a trip to Chicago in the middle of mocks and coursework is going to be worth it, hehe)

So my stats and HPME app have gotten me in. From this point on, am I now going to be accepted/rejected solely on my interview?

can you e-mail me the powerpoint too buckwald? i'd love to see them, although i'm about 3 months late in asking :)

i saw with the numbers you posted buckwald that 140 get interviews, and 60 are accepted. how many of those 60 are those who had interviews?
