I got the call at 5:08pm tonight, and I’m from the east coast. I’m 99% sure I’ll be at ND for the next four years, just waiting to hear about financial aid
@JDprospy well done! Aside from wishing my daughter would make it off the waitlist, it saddened me to think no one would make it - those years of “zero” upset me. so I am very happy for you! And glad your hard work and patience and determination paid off! Is it realistic anyone out there to still hope for a chance? We are in NYC… anyone from this area hear yet?
I’m hoping that more calls go out tomorrow! I am from NJ and haven’t heard anything but I have kept in contact with my rep and demonstrated interest. I too was worried that it would be another “zero” year.

Anyone heard about how they contact int’l students?
@rbohrt98 They will also call international students. My nephew emailed his international counselor and check the status of his application then within the hour he got a call from her today around 8am east coast time and 8pm asia pacific time.
Thanks @auntie29 and a big congrats for your nephew! I am sure he is celebrating since the wait was very long. Hopefully they will admit more international students!
My son’s classmate got the call today. I know yesterday some asked location…Chicago suburbs. He emailed his admissions officer at the beginning of the week still expressing interest. I sent the Admissions Officer an email yesterday with a recommendation…don’t know if either of those helped. Just glad he got in!

Hi! I’m a waitlisted student. I’m not quite sure I understand ND’s process of admitting waitlisted students. I’ve noticed that some people have gotten calls from their counselors in the past few days, but when I emailed my counselor today she referred me to the waitlist article, saying that they wouldn’t be admitting students until mid May. Is it a bad sign that she’s told me this?
They probably wont make calls in the weekend right…?
