NYU(NY) ED1 2018 Discussion

@emily
bb you’re no failure
also - for everyone who did ed to NYU - just because you don’t get in doesn’t mean you can’t go to NYU in the future. you can always transfer in and it’s A LOT easier to get in that way :^)

@onesmallpenguin
i think the only thing that the LSP change guarantees is that you didn’t get into your #1 college (typically CAS) so they placed you into an alternate college.

@businessgeek @yungmoney

haha thanks guys! hoping for a miracle! :slight_smile:
a lot of people has been telling me how easy transfer is, (maybe a sign? LOL)

but yeah
1 more day!

we’re all in this together… haha

@onesmallpenguin, stats?

@RCLVRR, what thread r u talking about?

probably gonna stay away from this site when friday hits. ughh

@rocky i thought u were talking about the one where the people posted whether they had a FA change and whether they got accepted or not. If u look at the RD thread from last year there are a bunch of people who had a FA change and got rejected and vice versa. But thats RD which tends to be different due to the different # of applications so who knows.

can u show me an example of one of those, one with an FA change and a rejection? I’ve only seen no FA change and acceptance.

its very confusing because the rd and ed threads show different things about the fa change. and do you guys think a 710 math II and 700 ush would help or hurt my chances??

@Spongebob SAT II’s never really hurt, they only help if say your stats look very similar to someone else’s. I’d say the Math II is acceptable, though it’s a tad low compared to the average. Wouldn’t worry about it though if your other exams are solid. Will not hurt you, once again.

@spongebob
i proudly submitted a 600 lit and a 660 math 2 LOL. those are good scores partner!

there are some on this page

@rclvrr
wow, looks like the FA change doesn’t mean jack ****. some people got it and didn’t get in, others didn’t get it and got in. LOL.

Everyone should enjoy these last hours of hope and stop speculation!

@yungmoney i agree! lets just hope that it holds true for ED as well!!!

@rclvrr
hey! mine was changed!! LOL

i’m already 99.99% sure that i didn’t get in, since my thing hasn’t changed from Stern to CAS, but i like being here with you guys :D

huh? interesting about the FA idk what to make. anyone up for a quick game of chanceme?

@yungmoney oops haha i thought urs hadnt. my baddd

@rocky i’ve done a lot of research now on the FA change (personally, mine was changed) and i can confirm that it makes ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE.

Yung are you sure they move people out of stern? Most here believe they don’t.
