I think Harvard and Stanford have said March 31st.

stanford isnt an ivy…
also why is this conversation in the NYU discussion?
To what someone said earlier: Yes NYU isn’t an ivy - but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a fabulous institution with a great reputation. With a school of this caliber, if you know someone that attended and found that they didn’t have good professors - that may be telling about the quality of their particular major within the university but not much else…

Harvard too is on the 28th - “E-mail decisions will be sent to the email addresses on record Thursday March 28, 2013 at 5:00 pm” [Harvard College Admissions § Application Status Login](http://collegeadmissions.fas.harvard.edu/admitted/login.cgi)

I suppose my friend who applied to Harvard was wrong and we were discussing Ivy Leagues because last year NYU sent out decisions on the same day and we are all wondering if we will get to hear earlier than April 1st. We weren’t arguing on whether or not it should be an Ivy League. It doesn’t really matter.

AHHHHHH what does this mean?!

"Select Aid Year to View

Select the appropriate aid year above to view your award information. If the aid year is not activated, your award information has yet to be determined."

All it said before was “There is no financial aid information found” and nothing else.

Ram - Are you sure it hasn’t always said that? Mine has, and it also still says ‘there is no financial information found’.

it was always like that… mines like that too
****… please change

:( Even if it doesn’t change, the interview I received for Clive Davis institute left a bitter taste. The guy clearly didn’t want to be there, and there were two people offscreen saying kind of passive aggressive things about me the entire time. I also don’t see how 8 minute interviews really let you know anything about your applicant.

Oh well. I liked other schools as much as I liked the idea of NYU.

Ram0276, in between “select aid year to view” and “select the appropriate year above to view your award information,” does it say
2014 New York University Award access not available?

@Serentic that sounds terrible. i wouldn’t want to go to a school represented by people like that.

I just looked at the Albert login page, and this is what it says: “Admission decisions for Regular Decision candidates will be sent sometime on April 1st after 5pm.”

I guess that means its gonna be on Monday!

Sundays - Yeah, it was really off-putting after I worked so hard on my portfolio. Oh well!

If the email says April 1st, after 5 pm, it will probably arrive a few hours earlier, like most of the ED IIers.

pennforme1…I don’t see that message on Albert. DO others have it?

“Admission decisions for Regular Decision candidates will be sent sometime on April 1st after 5pm. Admission decisions will not be available anywhere on this website. Decisions will not be released over the phone until 5 days after decisions have been released via email.”

Thanks. I see it now. That’s been there the whole time. Thought penn had seen something new.

I hope that we might be able to hear from NYU soon. They release early sometimes, especially for the LSP people.

I really think they’re going to send them out on Thursday, but just a gut feeling

Wait where do we get decisions if they are “not available anywhere on the website”

via email i guess
