NYU Spring Transfer 2014

So orientation is the 25th while move in can begin as early as the 24th?

What are you guys doing about class registration? Are you waiting to speak with an academic counselor about which courses you should be taking or just picking them as soon as your final college transcript comes in?

@supaflypatty I just received an email and it says that orientation is on jan23-24, which is thurs-fri, and not saturday. Is your orientation then too?

@mochiboo55 I just heard that different schools do orientations differently

@rachel0725, hey! i’m on the 2nd floor  hope we can meet up there!

moved in today btw guys. I’m excited to see all the CAS people at orientation tomorrow

Hey GUYS!!! I’m planning to transfer to NYU for fall 2014 as junior i know most of you guys already got accepted (congrats for that!!!) … so i was kinda hoping if you guys could give me suggestions - more like guidance - for the transfer process. Since this is the first time im using common app. i’m getting really confused about it especially for the activities section, like i know we have to put the activities in order of the importance but how do you describe the activities only with 150 characters?? And if i join honors fraternity what type of categories should i pu? – is it academic?? – i really need help for this one… THANK YOU!

hey @ameliespeck I was just wondering if you are currently a junior and would be finishing your senior year NYU or are a sophomore and would be entering your junior year. I only ask because if you are currently a junior NYU will not let you apply.

@flexpavillion I’m currently a sophomore now entering junior year

Hey everyone does nyu give out scholarships to spring transfers?

Hey guys!

I seriously doubt this’ll get any replies, this thread is like a year old. But oh well. So for those of you that got in, what was your financial aid package like? Any info would be awesome!

Alright thanks haha

@Iambobdylan‌ nyu it notorious for being stingy on financial aid… Are you planning on transferring this spring?.. Spring transfer financial aid is even harder to receive as most aid is used in the fall… What are your stats like?
