<p>Has anyone else had trouble with the professor recommendation? I did mine through the common app and NYU says they still haven’t received it even though my professor submitted it about three weeks ago.</p>
<p>how are you able to tell what NYU has and hasnt received? I applied last wednesday and still havent received an e-mail from NYU or something that says I applied.</p>
<p>I received a password to Albert, which is NYU’s portal, that has a checklist of all the things they have. You will get yours soon don’t worry. </p>
<p>Also I’ve been calling the admissions to check because they are really slow in updating Albert. Admissions said I had everything but my professor rec, which I submitted.</p>
<p>Yeah I submitted my app on the 12th of October. I called them a few days later and a lady talked with me and went through my file while I was on the phone with her and she told me they all everything. It also has everything checked on my Albert page. They are probably swamped with phone calls now though. Does anyone know when we will start receiving admissions notices? Every time my email on my phones goes off I have a mini heart attack!!</p>
<p>So apparently decisions will start coming out the last week of this month… But they’ll be coming in until the end of December. I think it depends on which school at NYU everyone’s applying for.</p>
<p>They send out decisions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So the first lot of decisions will be sent out on the 26th.</p>

<p>@dentrix64 I submitted my application on October 11th. My last thing I sent in the mail was my midterm grade report, and that to New York on the 25th. So it took like 2 weeks for them to send my acceptance email.</p>

<p>@finkies I think you need to show them at least some form of proof that you graduated from high school; your transcript can be one of those things. </p>
<p>Send them an email and see what they say about this.</p>
