NYU Spring Transfer 2014

Did anyone hear from NYU?

@travel7seas I think they do, including PLUS loans. They use what you put on the fafsa as your expected family contribution and give you the rest in loans.

@FlexPavillion waited all morning… No emails.

nothin here either

same I did not receive anything either. Do you think they will send out decisions on Tuesday again or anytime? Don’t you think they have to let us know ASAP though because we have to let them know 3 weeks after and soon it will be break? @victorchlee

I believe so. I called them and they said they will be sending out the last decisions by the first week of december.

@victorchlee I hope that’s the case because it’ll make planning for next semester much easier. I’m surprised nothing came out today.

I didn’t get anything either :frowning: Im more worried now…

Don’t be I checked the thread from spring 2013 applicants and they were receiving acceptances up until at least December 14th of 2012, if that helps at all. @dsgraf12

hey guys, i am also looking to transfer to nyu for this spring… this blog has been extremely helpful so i just wanted to thank who ever started and congratz to the people who got accepted already  today i received a request for a mid term report… would that be considered a plus ? @anne94 i think the reason why acceptance letters were delayed until december 14th was because of sandy. With that being said i do believe that we are gonna receive decisions much earlier

True I did not think of that. I’m sure all decisions will be out by the first week of December then, at least I hope so. I would get the midterm report in ASAP so they can finish reviewing your application, but it is a good thing they contacted you. @samishere

Are mid term reports actually required? I’ve had 2 emails already for a missing college transcript and application fee, but so far they haven’t asked for a mid term report. I thought you would send that in after you were accepted?

no it is a required for according to the common app, I was emailed for mine as well about 3 weeks ago. @supaflypatty

form* correction haha

I was accepted into one of my other schools and I’m very happy, even though NYU remains my first choice. I’m ready to hear back either way so I can start making plans for January!

congrats, what other school were you accepted into!? @hotelhunt

@anne94 Boston University. They’ve got a great program for my desired major, but I’m a New Yorker through and through haha

So it’s safe to say most decisions have yet to be released? Or do you think that most decisions have already been sent out?

@dsgraf12 It’s been about three weeks since they started sending them out and there are about two left for them to be sent out. So, I would say yes, a majority have been sent out, but that doesn’t mean the rest will necessarily be denials.

Let’s just stay positive guys! Who knows, maybe everyone in this feed will get accepted come Tuesday.
