I never got an email confirmation…and yes! We should wait a few more days.
Also i was going to say that its not worth being emotionally invested in a school. Its an abiotic thing…dont treat it as if youll die without it!

I already emailed them a while ago. They said they don’t send out confirmation emails, but they said they checked their list and they did receive my RSVP form.
So they mentioned they admitted students into Tisch…does that mean that no more students will be admitted into the school? Did they already admit everyone from Tisch?

I remeber someone said about accessing to housing application. I was able to log in before but it only showed '16 summer housing but today it also showed Academic year 2016~2017. I clicked Access Application and it said “Our records indicate that you currently do not have guaranteed housing status for the Academic Year 2016-2017 term.” in the middle of the page. Does this mean anything?
On the NYU housing website, it says that the Academic Year 2016-2017 would be available to non-renewable undergraduates after a certain date. So it’s not a glitch. We’re able to access it no matter what. If you were truly admitted, your status would’ve changed from “Non-Renewable Undergrad” to “Undergrad.”

I just went back to see my NYU Admission Decision email, I wasn’t aware it said:
“If you accept a place on the waitlist, you will receive a confirmation email in early May which will provide an update on NYUs planned wait list activity.”
Umm what is their definition of early? Hope it will be before May 10!
I’m tempted to call them and check if they have my information and confirm that I am in fact being re-evaluated.

I called them to ask about my rsvp form and ngl I was transferred to like three different people and all of the seemed to not really care. It is clear that they are pretty busy and it was clear that all of them were in a rush to hang up the phone. The lady I talked to said once you sent the rsvp form and saw “confirmation” on your screen then that means it is confirmed. She didn’t take my name or ID number to check my application or anything…so I guess if you have the option to not bombard them I wouldn’t do so
@terr24lr dammnnnn, i was really hoping something like that wasn’t going to happen. That’s the main reason I didn’t, and still don’t really want to have to call. Thanks for letting us know though.
@CollegeBoundorNah As long as you physically clicked that rsvp form submit button and saw the page say confirmation then you are good. I know it sucks waiting and not having any reassurance but it’s their word over ours. All we can do is just take a step back and let it happen
I already submitted the form but I just wanted to see whether I could submit another one since NYU said the form is the only one they would look at. so, I clicked RSVP form link and it doens’t exist anymore.
anyone accepted off the waitlist for nyu stern?
@1stYodaman It’s passed May 1st, so I wouldn’t recommend putting in another form. And @Bluebrry You’re going to have to wait like a week more (I think that’s when alot of decisions are released)
I’m reading the 2019 Waitlist forum and last year by May 4th/5th people began getting interest emails from admissions. Has anyone been contacted yet?
