@ruby21 got nothing
@ruby21 nope, I hope something happens soon though
Nope, absolutely nothing yet. But, judging by the update dean abbott posted to the admissions blog, it seems like the process may very well be quite delayed this year in terms of literally everything…
I called and they said “end of June” …i was like …
Under my admission decision it says “new freshman” … Does this mean anything?
@tomatoes124 I had the same thing as you since decisions first came out on our portals.
hi, guys! new here. But did you guys ever had admission decision link/button in Albert? If so, where part is it under? I never saw a button that allow me to officially see admission decision ltr, but I did receive a email of the ltr telling me I am WLed. when I tried to log in, I only see application status tab, but no admission decision tab. in the very beginning of the albert portal, I do have both " student" and Applicant" tab. Pls help!
can ask where is “my admission decision” tab/button? I only have admission status button. Thanks!
@yobo disable your pop up blocker
@hello2020 thanks a bunch!
So I called NYU today, the lady was extremely nice. She said that admission/notification for waitlisted students can come out as late as a week prior school begins. She also mentioned that they are behind their schedule, so any forms of update or notification will come out later.
@naanbread…love your name XD and WOW…i have no clue how we are ahpp
Woops how we are supposed to get assimilated literally one week before school starts if we get accepted…wow and late June T.T this waiting game…
I think a late june/august reply is an extreme case. Sure it happens but to those select few who are still open to be a replacement for a student who dropped out. For the most part, I don’t doubt that a large amount of waitlist results will come out two weeks from now (probs not next week).
I’m currently planning on taking a gap year right now, so I if do get admitted off the waitlist can I still defer my admission until next year or is that a bad idea?
Yea I agree with you @terr24lr , it seems as though decisions are going to be delayed this year (judging by how we haven’t even received confirmation e-mails at this point). But, I really hope you’re right in saying that we will get our decisions within the next few weeks fingers crossed
@irburgat I think you can defer enrollment!
I think the only people that have gotten off the wait list so far (as mentioned in the admissions blog) are people who applied to tisch acting
I feel like a relationship status when people ask me where I’m going to college, “It’s complicated.” Hope the decisions come out soon!
@hello2020 ikr!! So true. :-S i really hope decisions come out before the summer
