on rsvp, it shows as “sorry, this survey is not currently active.” is that normal?
@Bluebrry yeah I think it was shut down after May 1st because that was the deadline to reply
@hello2020 but i applied prior to may 1st
@Bluebrry yeah a lot of us did. But for those who went back and forth with whether or not they wanted to be on the list, the RSVP was open until May 1st.
@Taewon I don’t think we can use what happened last year as an accurate representation of what the process will be like this year…so far they’ve deviated a lot from what they did last year and what they “claimed” to do this year in terms of sending confirmation e-mails and interest e-mails as well.
From what i’ve heard, most (if not all) international students have not heard anything from NYU since submitting their waitlist forms (and I know some people, like me, who happened to submit the form almost immediately after getting their waitlist decisions).
This is why i’m kinda worried about international students currently on the waitlist, as it seems like it’s gonna take longer for NYU to get back to us (even though I sincerely hope this is not the case) and let us know about our status…
wait, im really sorry but does that mean that my rsvp was not submitted?
@Bluebrry it probs was. It is closed for EVERYONE because it is passed may 1st. If you submitted it before may 1st then you should be fine. Call or email admissions and ask if your form was received.
thank you
Around this time last year, some students already heard back from the office! There’s no interest emails nor any form of update. Also, the office hasn’t replied my emails after May!
This year is definitely different than last year. I think in general, the entire waitlist process has been delayed a week or so. I think it is safe to say a few waitlist results may trickle in starting this upcoming Monday onwards…but that’s just an estimate!
I am getting tired of waitinggggg D:
@Sassygogo I agree. I graduate next week and kind of want to know where I am going with 100% certainty.
Does anyone know how long they give you to decide once offered admission? Will financial aid information be available when admission is offered?
Will they notify us if we got in by e-mail?
@uwchsmom 2 weeks, Financial aid should be seen as well. But there are cases of it not popping up until later. @scholar861 Should be email.
Thanks!
If anyone gets into Tandon plz post.
Anyone else still waiting to hear from Tisch / Dance? Would love to hear if someone’s got in off the wait list.
Still waiting to hear from Tisch
