Ughhhh I looked up “nyu waitlist” on twitter and someone tweeted that he was one of 3-5 kids accepted off the nyu wait list for film which means chances are not good for me 
@kenzielouwho currently i’m doing communications but i might wanna transfer to journalism and possibly double major in photography!! will you accept nyu’s offer if you get off the waitlist?
@geiseln I don’t know, I don’t think so I received really good finical aid from GW and have already been talking to their debate team about joining and looking into all of the organizations and getting excited!
@kenzielouwho i’m super excited about GW but if NYU does accept me i’ll be going there!! but gw is a really amazing school, nyu just has more pros for me (I want to work in fashion)
Anyone new heard back from Stern??? In a past wait list update they said the next informational email would be in June. Do you think by then all wait list spots will be filled?

A couple people on this thread have heard from Stern - not too sure how many spots they’ll have left, but I’m guessing not many.
It’s been a week since the last time anyone from this thread heard from them… Does it really mean that there is almost no spot left? Also I hope that they’re NOT having international students wait until August as well- the visa and air ticket thing need to be done ASAP
In their most recent email that was sent a couple weeks back, it mentioned that their next update would be in June. I really have nothing much to add other than the fact that I really really hope there is still a chance for Stern spots
I just received an interest email/survey? Seemed like it went to everybody, did anyone else receive this?
What did the email say?
it said:
"Hello,
I am writing to take a quick survey of our NYU Wait List Applicants.
If you do not mind, could you please let me know if you:
- Are still interested in attending NYU
- Have committed elsewhere
3)Have committed elsewhere but would still be interested in attending NYU if offered admissions
Please note that this is not an offer of admissions but simply a survey.

@irburgat: I didn’t receive that either, I’m on wait list with Tisch Sport Management & Business
Maybe that email was specifically to those who are in your region because Stephany Faublas is a regional admissions counselor
