She’s the regional admissions counselor for Delaware and Virginia (and some other east states), but I live in California…
I just received an email telling me to check my portal and I was accepted!! (Tisch Film and TV)
Congratulations. This is wonderful. Will you accept?
Nothing yet from stern for me!
Literally what the heck. This waiting game is getting the best of me!!! Do you guys think that at this point all spots (including for Stern) are filled??? Anyone pls comment
@terr24lr Their next blog should be coming out soon and that will tell all
hope they tell us by mid june at least
At this point I just don’t see how they could accept any more kids because if they wanted to then they would have done so already…idk but I really hope I am proved wrong
any news?
@Bluebrry I haven’t received anything and also the NYU blog hasn’t posted anything
@Bluebrry nothing yet sadly…
ah crap
right moving on . screw nyu, i mean, how can they NOT make a decision yet. v
Did anyone else get an email from Steinhardt this afternoon? I’m pretty excited but I hope it’s not false hope.
Mind me asking what it is about? (nothing from Steinhardt here)
@InfiniteHH98 it was pretty brief, just from an admissions counselor asking if I wished to remain on the waitlist. I answered yes and then they sent me an automated mail with a form to fill out about what specific programs I was interested in if it’s changed since I first applied. There was only a choice of maybe 10 or so on the list so I think they probably only have limited space in just those majors.
I don’t remember all of them, but I know there was Applied Psych (which was one of my choices), Studio Art, Early Childhood Ed, Music Ed, Music Business, Music Theory, and Media, Culture, and Communication on the list
read the blog. bye bye stern
Thank you! I applied to MCC but received nothing… so hopefully it’s a good sign for you! Good luck:)
coming from someone who has kept a glimmer of hope since day one, i can officially believe that NYU is done with freshmen applicants for this 2016 year. If anything, additional spaces- specifically for stern- would hypothetically be based on admitted students who drop out in the end. I really do hope that there are better opportunities for those students and they pursue whatever over NYU! At that point NYU will go down their list of desperate students like myself and pick the next lucky one. However for now, everything has proven to be an annoying experience. Thanks NYU!
