in one of the CR sections, there was a dinosaur passage and one of the questions was how is “mired” used? was the answer choice stuck?

but why would you subtract 16 and then subtract 3? those 9 students wouldn’t be counted at all.

i put “stuck” but i was unsure

For the absence question: you need to take into account that the given stated that 5% of the school missed AT LEAST one day. Which means you need to add back 9 people (8 people missed 2, 1 person missed 3)from the 71 days that you get from 90 days - 19 days.

So the answer should have been 1600, in hindsight. =[

KennyP, the slope was 5 i think

what did everyone get for the free response question that was the half square…

i put 15

@deltron I think I got 1420 too…

I put stuck.

And for the absent question, I put 1800 because it said ATLEAST so I disregarded the extra info. So I am not sure.

And wasn’t the parabola question with the slope 5?

the vertex was (0,25) and the other point was (-5,0) so the slope should be 5.

ok mire means to stick in or entangle so stuck is correct. Did not take the test but just searched the definition LOLL.

i only subtracted 10. 8 for the 8 students that were counted 16 times and 2 for the 1 student that was counted 3 times.
i agree with blaaargh… it was 1600

Hi guys,

triangle 33?
students 1600?
cube 51?

what did you guys get for the esmeralda spalding question with the strikingly low instrument? I put that “with” was incorrect because you contrast something TO another thing, not with it.

for the students adding up… i got 1800 but i just added them all up, did some cross multiplying

what slope of 5 are u guys talking about? i remember a slope question and my ans was -2/7 but what is the quest with the slope of 5?

for the ape passages…number 8… did you put D i believe–the the difference was like commands as opposed to communication

anyone know what the writing experimental one was? freaking out here

colts89, i think i got 128 for that one. don’t remember why…

also, was the passage’s view on the assumption “hopelessly ambiguous” and another answer that he was trying to be reasonable (or something like that)

triangle 33, students 1600, cube apparently 54

Nope, cube was definitely 54. The 3 sides that you take off from removing the one cube are added by from the “inside” 3 sides that are exposed.
