@crushingpennies same situation here!!! my high school application status is still incomplete, i asked my high school to mail for me about a month ago, and UPS confirmed that NYU has already signed for the receiving of my package. I emailed the AO three days ago, still haven’t heard nothing. Frustrated right now, bcz it’s mid may already.

@crushingpennies I totally get you. I had sent all my documentation/paperwork (all in the same large envelope, mind you) the week before the deadline, and they e-mailed me late April letting me know that they still didn’t have my HS transcript. I e-mailed admissions letting them know that I had no problem re-sending my HS transcript and I asked them if they needed me to send them any other paperwork (as my HS transcript was in the same large envelope as all the other documentation, like the registrar report, etc) and they told me that they only needed my HS transcript, and so I sent it and 2 weeks ago I e-mailed admissions again to see if they gotten my transcript and the lady told me that they did… and now it’s May 12th and they still haven’t checked the dumb box…
The anxiety is horrible.

@hopefully I’m sooooo excited! I can’t believe I have been given this opportunity. I just sat in the park for a while after the tour soaking in the scenery. I can totally see myself there!

@theyadoreyou Totally got goosebumps reading that!

@crushingpennies I had the same issue, but it turns out they had everything they needed. I emailed back and fourth with the person who requested my HS transcript until she realized it was received along with my other materials, just not checked off in albert. I would double check and see if they made a mistake. My stuff wasn’t fully checked off until a couple days before I was accepted so don’t freak out!

@transfer20140826 @michaellemon Okay I’m glad it’s not just me who is experiencing these problems… If I don’t hear back from them by tomorrow I’m gonna call to see what’s going on. Hopefully we’ll get some answers soon. Like the rest of you, I’m just soooo anxious.

And @theyadoreyou that’s really reassuring… thanks! And a huge congrats on getting in btw!! That’s fantastic! I’m sure you’re gonna have an amazing time

@theyadoreyou what was the subject line for the acceptance email, if you remember?

@theyadoreyou huge congrats!!! i really hope I can get in, bcz it meant a lot to me. hope i can hear good news from NYU tmr, and finger crossed for everyone who has a brave heart, they adore us :-)

@crushingpennies @transfer20140826 Thanks guys!!

@hopefully The email came from admissions.ops@nyu.edu and the subject was “Your NYU Admissions Decision”. I thought it would be a link to some kind of portal but the body of the email contained the decision.

Hi guys ! I’ve been going trough this thread for the past hour, and I’m happy to see I’m not the only one freaking out about not hearing anything from NYU.
