Anyone on the east coast? Any last minute study tips? Specific models/vocab I should study before I take it in an hour? you can dm me if you want

The multiple choice was pretty hard, few definition questions the FRQ’s: 1. Had to differentiate rustows stages of economical growth and wallersteins core-periphery model (wierd question worth a lot of points though) 2. Had to do with the effects of superimposed barriers on culture in Africa. 3. Had to do with the chararactistics of modern coffee farms. And how more consumption changes these. (Was a pretty easy question, also know why coffee farms are where they are) sorry if I was too late

Lol

I thought the multiple choice was fairly easy. Probably missed 10-15?

Well. I would never talk about the questions but I believe that the Afrikaneers were from the Netherlands.

Didn’t take the test, but the Afrikaans is a mixture of indigenous languages and Dutch.

Advice for everyone taking AP Human Geo next year: NEVER USE BARRON’S! It will hardly help you on anything.

Aside from the painful multiple choice section, FRQs were a joke.

Agreed… I spent way too much reading it and didn’t help as much as I thought it would

Lol just finished. Princeton review book wasn’t enough for self study. Definitely 0 points earned on that first frq hahah. Most on the Africa and 3/4 of the points on the last one. Multiple choice was harder than Princeton review so maybe 3/4 right there too. Sounds like a 3 or 4 on my test. I wish I could’ve seen the post about the models for the first frq before I went in lol.

Easier than studying for psych, but still not super easy. Whatever lol

I self studied and only used Barron’s. Bad idea. Didn’t help with this year’s MC, I estimate I got around 70% correct and a lot of that was from prior knowledge. The FR were okay; although I had a little difficulty with the first one, the second two were straightforward. I think that if my FR were good enough, I might have pulled off a five. Depends on the curve, really.

Rostow’s stages of development vs. core periphery model

What did you guys put as differences?

mcq: why dont we use hydroelectric power? was it because of altering ecosystems or high cost to maintain?

Altering the ecosystem

What was that map one with high crop concentrations in Montana and similar states?

LOL i said pizza oops haha

should we make a google doc guys?

Yes please. Google doc please.

Well, looking at RishabC297’s answers, I got three wrong already X_X

Judging from yalls answers, apparently I got all of the mc wrong. Lol.

The Multiple Choice was intense for me prbly got 45-50 right. Or lower
The First FRQ I had to complete BS. The second and third ones went fine. Especially the 2nd one.
