Official March SAT Math Discussion 2008

1) "which set shows an inverse function" question with the x and y table
2) a pyramid with sides 8, find the area of the base (answer choices were 32 radical 2, 64 radical 4, 64 radical 2, etc.)
3) an integer with certain digits; how many different ways to make a new integer without repeating digits

were these experimental?
I hope so :/

two might be

for 2 u sure it wsa 8 cuz i had experiemental but mine said sides of 1
and also
1 and 3 are not experiemental

what was the answer to 1?

b its the one with the fraction in the first row and column

Thanks AKittka, lol!

its weird....i had extra math section
but i don remember ever seeing pyramid question

Was the inverse relationship question the chart where x and y always multiplied to the same constant, so as one increased the other decreased (and vice versa)? In this case I believe the constant was 24. I'm 95% sure but just want to double-check,

hey if i missed 3 on math (so -4 overall with the .25 thing) what would that equate to about?

730!!!!!!! i guess so.

I got a -5 raw score (-3 questions, 1 omit) on the November 2007 test and got 720, to help with the curve idea

what wud about 7-8 omit and 2 wrong be ?

650-670 ---

for "Triangle w/ variables U & T: (U*T)" what was the problem?

also does anyone know the specific numbers that were in the the correct table of the inverse function question?

^ 2 and 12, 4, and 6, a few others that I don't remember...probably 8 and 3.

Geoffrey, i think for that inverse proportion one, xy=12, because i remember seeing 3 and 4 in the first row. Anyone remember anything about that question?

ya ii think it was either b or c dont remember wat i put but xy was always 12

any predictions for 2 omit and 2 wrong....pleeeaaasse

wait what was the hypotenuse 6sqrt5 problem again??
